I have heard the washers are a legal requirement for any car with xenon headlights - I would love to know why they are a legal requirement if anyone knows.... Maybe the headlights don't work properly if there is dirt over them?

@boogiefever1985 a dirty headlight would make the light being emitted glare and be more scattered, xenon healights produce a brighter light so there needs to be a way to make sure the lense is clear so the light doesnt blind other drivers

The headlights on the Saab are way cooler than the BMWs , the older has wipers and washers on the Headlights while the newer ones have a washer.

The 2000 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible has wipers and washers for the headlights, they are cool. Volvos are the same as the Saab.
