  • 1 justin bieber fan dislikes this vid.....

  • it's always best when hearing them live.

  • por que direngrey por que!!!! si eran tan super ha hora no son lo que fueron antes

  • dir en grey doesnt give a shit about there looks ok they want us the fans to enjoy there fucking badass music and i respect that

  • I think he should stick to Japanese. Anyway, Glass Skin is the first of Dir en Grey's new songs that I actually like (melody-wise). I wish they would remaster Gauze, Macabre, and Kisou and release them in the USA.

  • This is such a pretty song, with a nice melody..I just hate that it's in english..doesn't sound right >>

  • it sucks that not a single diru vid has reached a million views :(

  • I Love version jap but english is soso xD ^^

  • also the song is amazing, I'm happy my friend recommended this band for me!!!

  • dude kyo's body is VERY yummy

  • I looked down at my screen about halfway through the song and just about fell off my chair

    xD

  • @maiasiag and people usually call him cute hmmm....

  • Wow, this song is amazing... I can't really make out what he is saying but the instruments, the voice, the emotion all sweep me away

  • wow, kyo's body

  • @banzaofking

    yumm right?

i love dir en grey, they are definatly one of my favourite bands ever, the emotion Kyo puts into his songs, its amazing.

  • It's german, french and english mix and means 'grey coin'.

It kinda reflects the two sides of the coin and also the two sides in people and everything.

    That's what I've read somewhere.

  • the band name sounds german

  • @booom34

Their band name is a mix of different languages. I actually don't know what it means though

  • Awesome band, I didn't really like them until I saw them at Rock im Park a few weeks ago, one of the best shows I was ever at, small venue made it better.

Also, please stop using caps when typing live, its annoying :P

  • yeah these guys are BRILLIANT live, they opened with obscure, and at the end, they gave out copies of an EP they did. Amazing night in liverpool at the KErrang! Relentless tour

    <3

  • I don't know why everyone hates the new Dir En Grey. Truthfully I love their Visual Kei days and I love their current metal days. Kyo's voice remains beautiful and passionate and his lyrics remain deep and thought provoking.

All that I would like to change is their look lol. I would pay Kyo to shave his gote. Toshinya, Die, and Kaoru all look alike. I miss Die's red hair.. he looked so much hotter back then. But they still are pretty hot ^^

    Dir En Grey FTW

  • Just as long as they keep making great music together, I don't care too much as to what people want them to sound; there's reasons why there are more then one band in the world to listen to.

  • True, but keep in mind that in the 10 years Dir en grey has been around, they have been something diffrent like, what, every two seconds? So you cant just say visual kei days and metal days, (your not the only one) It's more like their Gauze days, Kisou days, Vulgar days. etc. That in itself is what makes them great: their lack of musical and visual consitentcy.

  • @Zjohns123 I've never heard anything from their visual kei days.

  • i think i wet my self this was so fucking good!

  • This is such a beautiful song.

    Kyo's voice is so moving.

I'm seeing Diru on the 24th January. Can't wait. <3

  • To see Dir en Grey LIVE is the luckiest thing to do; their the best band alive working today anywhere in the world! I was lucky to see them LIVE in Los Angeles and Fresno, California (so I got to see them twice). I love this band!

Enjoy yourself on January 24th! What city will they be in?

  • I know! I just know it's going to be the most memorable time of my life.

Wow, you're lucky. :D Twice, too. I bet they were stunning ...

I definately will, thankyou! They'll be in Leeds, England; they're touring the UK with Mindless Self Indulgence, Bring Me the Horizon, In Case of Fire and Black Tide.

I only know MSI and Diru, and enjoy both, but it's predominantly Diru I'm looking forward to. It's gonna rock. n_n

  • Seeing them LIVE on stage twice was lucky of me indeed, and yes... they were stunning...

Dir En Grey puts out a great show. I'd love to see them again one day.

    Rock On!!!

  • They're coming with Bring Me The Horizon ?!

Omfg, that will be the most amazing show you will have ever expirienced. GURANTEED

  • I SEEN THEM IN CONCERT FOR THE FRIST TIME ON NOV 23rd. THEY WERE FUCKING AWESOME!!! KYO WAS HOT AS HELL WITH NO SHIRT!! 0_o I WAS SCREAMING FOR THREE HOURS DURING THE CONCERT!!! -_- I WAS SOOO TIRED THE NEXT DAY...I WAS THE ONLY PREGNANT GIRL THERE....IT WAS FUN THOUGH...EVERYBODY KEPT ASKING HOW I KNEW DIR EN GREY...I'VE KNOWN THEM FOR 8 YRS AND JUST SAW THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME...YAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!

  • When they toured America, I was lucky enough to see them LIVE in L.A. and again in Fresno, CA, when they opened for the Deftones. They are simply kick ass when performing LIVE.

  • Reminds me of U2.

    Great sound!

  • They have a cult following pretty much throughout the world.

This band nearly broke up, but their tours in America and throughout the world convinced them that they had enough fans not to do so.
