Can the virus spread from dog to dog?

the vet doesnt know whats wrong with my puppy. The vet decided to keep him at the clinic on IV fluids and antibiotic because he can't keep no liquid or food in his tummy. Please help me. I only had the dog for a week but I won't him to live. I feel scammed by the previous owners and I want them to refund my money but they won't. I dont think it's legal what they did. Is their anybody who had the same problem with their dog and saved him? Thanks for your support.

I bought a 5 weeks old pitbull and since day 1 he had diarrhea and vomiting, the second day I brought him to the vet and did 2 parvo tests that came up negative, but his diarrhea had a weird smell. So I brought him to the emergency clinics and he had fluids, panacur, metronidazole and 2 antivomiting injections. 2 days later his previous owner pushed me to give him the DHPP shot and I did it, he became lethargic even before the shot and refused to eat.
