Nice to know my-exact-same-litter-box wasn't on death's door - I surely thought all that noise was the motor burning out. It died after 2 years. My cats didn't beat it up though! I have a raggy too ;-)

Forget the automatic litter boxes, none work that well. Get the "Omega Paw " litter box. Check out the reviews on Amazon, it has more positive reviews than any other litter box on the site. I have one and I don't even mind doing the litter anymore.

I had 2 and they broke about 2 months down the line and the company wouldnt do anything about it. The motor goes out on them. Same with my friends. They are great when there working! but not worth the money cause they break not long after
