@dibbledot hollyoaks was first broadcast in 1995, it may not be as long running as ATWT, but which one has been cancelled due to low ratings? not Hollyoaks. You may not understand british accents but the british people (who happen to be the target audience) do.

and what do you mean 'they're all poor people'. that is ridiculous. (in these videos, for example, craig's family own a pub) OUR soaps are supposed to represent 'real life' (obvs it's all exaggerated for entertainment purposes)

Hollyoaks is way better. However, Noah would never hit Luke. Perhaps Noah is the most noble. John Paul and Luke are both a bit scatter brained.

I think the JP/Craig scene is a lot more awkward when you know the whole storyline. Like what happened before...what with JP confessing and everything. The Noah/Luke one, while hot, was kind of cheesy. Still, they were shirtless... :)

No. the hollyoaks is hardly as awkward as that one. they changed and not one time that they looked at each other while changing they catch the other one peeping at the other the Nuke one was like complete physical contact and almost kissed. the most awkward thing about it in Hollyoaks was that they were forced to pose and that happens with non-gay friends so not even in the same league.

It's kind of a toss-up for this one. For Nuke, that towel scene was a really big deal (and the most physical contact they've ever shown on screen). But for McDean, the changing scene, while cute and funny, was overall rather insignificant in their history of events. Still, Hollyoaks just does everything better than ATWT...

Of course I'm gonna say McDean. The difference in the scenes is that the akwardness(sexual tension) only happens with nuke because of them being in that position where they are in that hold with each other. With Craig/JP the akwardness/ sexual tension is there because they are so aware of each other without having to be so close together. They both know something is different between them but they are trying to pretend that everything is still the same. McDean, soulmates 4eva, Nuke, couple 4now.

Actually Nuke has TONS of moments like that. Having the akwardness (sexual tension) between them without them being in positions to have it, since ATWT is (well they are better now) ridged in letting them be 'physical' they have had to practically live off of that tension (have you seen how much electricity comes off these 2 when they are just around eachother trying not to draw attention!?) & find other ways to show their desire and feelings since they were hardly ever allowed to show it.

Maybe I'm biased; never seen Jp & Craig's show. But I've watched a few of these 'compeitions' for lack of a better word, and will concede that those two have won most of them. but this one, I have to say goes to Nuke. The JP & Craig one didn't seem as tense, I guess, because it looked like they sort of built up the tension and awkwardness inside their heads more than in the scene, if that makes any sense at all. But Nuke's just seems more tense and, well, I just tihnk its the better of the two.

Oh, and by te way, for anyone who didn't know, we DO know that John Paul is desperately in love with Craig at this point, and so does Craig, which is the main reason it's so awkward. It took a while for them to re-build their relationship, and then the dreaded kiss happened, and it happened all over again. And their moments together are a whole lot hotter than Nuke, who never seem to kiss ever.

Errrm Definately John Paul and Craig, no question. I've watched some Nuke, but it just can't live up to McDean, it has to be said. The whole story has more tension, the filming is better, the acting is better, on the whole, it's just better! Though I have to say, I'm probably very biased. I watch Hollyoaks every single day!

I'm a NYC boy, so I watch ATWT all the time, and I do enjoy the Luke & Noah story; however, YOUTUBE & BBC America has shown me that the John Paul & Craig story was fantastic in every sense of the word. The story was much more real, and they can take it to that next level. I don't think the conservative minds of the United States will allow that physicality with Luke & Noah..... so JP & Craig WINS. :-)

I think Craig and Jp's moment was a lot more awkward with the hidden glances -checking eachother out secretly and you on't really know that they fancy each other. Whereas for Noah and Luke you an see right away that they like each other.
