Scale model Fire Truck turn out

RTFM ! the whole scale model was hand build. The chassis was made using two Alu beams. The cab and body were made out of 2 and 3 mm sheets plastic.

well there is an European VW van in Police colours, but there are not many suitebale 1:14/16 scale Model vehicles that can be changed intp Police cruisers. I have a Lincoln Navigator SUV, but I think that will modelling that model into a FDNY Batt chief car, or NYPD police unit. Sorry no scale Drawing, since police cruisers are all average street cars.

Hi, thanks for the interest in my RC fire trucks. The question has been asked me many times, and I'm more than willing to build a scale model, but.... I don't have enough spare time to build a scale model for customers. Just to build a simpel scale model will take me almost 9-12 months. And since I have already many projects in storage I can't take any new ones.

Go to the Seagrave site and download the PDF scale drawing. Second get a Code 3 scale model in 1:32 scale, that will give you a good look of the dimensions.

The song is from the movie ``backdraft` about the Chicago FD, directed by Ron Howard. It is used in many fire service related movies on Youtube.

Well for this moment this Saulsbury model is not for sale. But since I'm working on new models, I might consider selling this model in the future.

They don't you think the rotate but there are 6 LED's placed in a circle. The led's are powered by an electronic circuit, called a "running light" and they are switched on one by one. The speed is adjustable and by placing the Led's in a circle you get the idea that they are rotating.

I build this truck myself , using the blueprints donated by Saulsbury The model has an engine sound an off course it has a siren, ( Wail, yelp, HiLo) and airhorn. The cost of the model, well if you only consider the hardware, price would be over € 1000,-. That is without the RC control set, and my hours that it took to build.

Maybe I will put this model for sale, in a few years when I have the new models finished.

The model fire engine and the Fire station were hand build. The model is approx 1:14 scale, and so is the Fire Station. It is a three bay station, and the second model is almost ready. This will be a '73 Mack CF Aerialscope. Thanks for your interest.

This video was taken at a Model exhibition in the Netherlands. And the model is not for sale(for now that is).

Maybe in a few years when I have my other RC fire trucks finished.
