i actually prefer frost to kollias personally, i just love how he is so raw, powerfull and precise, not to meniton really levelled headed when it comes to writing and despite his capabilities, is always willing to play something slow and easy if it will suit the music better, thats just me personally though

Frost is an elite athlete he is so good. I've seen lots of drummers play crazy fast technical stuff but this guy is way better. Mad style and power with the speed. Innovative drumming as well. It will be a sad day when he will not be able to play like this anymore. More people need to be aware of his skills.

what a great video of Frost drumming his kits. i talked to Frost on drum tips and everything. he is such a chill dude and gave great tips for me as a drummer. Frost is just one great drummer and underrated. he likes good music with meaning and creedo of black metal.

Well he is really fast but not that technical. Even though i am a fan of black metal but most of the drummers in black metal depend on blast more than anything. I prefer Death Metal drums

"Technical" is quite a multi-interpretable term :) You can also say you need great technique (and practice ofcourse) to keep up blasts for such a long time, and Frost is one of those top blackmetal drummers with an absolutely SICK stamina. Good enough for sickdrummer. Drummers can be sick in a lot of ways, and the last 1 or 2 years, sickdrummer has really lived up to that statement. IT's all good!!!

And just for your info, a lot of extreme metal drummers with perfect finger control and close to optimal stroking technique, can't keep blasts up as long as Frost. That says something about his working spirit, which is always something I can respect.
