Repressing emotion is not 'a simple measure' and can have serious mental health consequences. It can only be done through intense training, severe trauma or (interestingly) religious fanaticism. All humans, other than psychopaths, are born with an intact conscience.
It is much easier to assume that you can kill someone than it is to actually do it (or so I have heard). Infact, much less than 35% (varies from 10%-30%) of soldiers actually shoot to kill. Strange, no?

Exactly- The Alpha has the best genes, and thus improves the species. This allows wolves to continue to exist. Clearly, if the ultimate goal was for the wolves to pass on their own genes (rather than ensure the survival of their species) they would be breeding without the Alpha's consent. Eventually these inferior wolves would eat all the prey and ruin the ecosystem.
For wolves, the survival of the pack (their genetically similar family) is paramount to their own survival.

The ultimate rule of evolution- that which is successful survives. If the goal of every organism was to reproduce It's OWN offspring, then why is it only the Alpha Wolf that breeds?
The answer is this- a person might have a brother. This brother would obviously possess the most of the same genes as him (including recessive homosexuality). If this person then helps to raise his brother's children, they have a higher chance of surviving, and in turn, passing on those genes.

Actually, homosexuality isn't a genetic mutation. It is something that is wired into our DNA and not determined by single gene- unlike Down Syndrome and other disabilities that can result from inbreeding or other genetic problems, the source of homosexuality cannot accurately be traced.

If you claim that being straight is the standard setting, then it must follow that gay men are attracted to women naturally, but just chooses to sleep with men, whom they aren't attracted to. Why would anyone do that? Either both heterosexuality and homosexuality is a choice, or neither of them are.
