I love how the game gives you these seemingly random opportunities, like the chance to use the Hole in the Wall here. Not necessary, but adds cool depth to the game.
Am I the only one who thinks that using a puzzle like the Logic Cliffs as a form of copy protection is a sign of extreme desperation by the developers?
I mean, I've seen quite a few copy protection measures in my time, but that just goes overboard.
Then again, I think this was the time before relatively inobtrusive protection measures like CD-Keys, so maybe I can't fault the developers on that one.
I honestly don't think it saved them any sales, either. Once a pirate got to that point, they either also had the means to pass it, or simply wouldn't have cared.
It's a shame you can't trade the ship's wheel.

You know, if you didn't have "The Guide Book to the Land of the Green Isles", you were pretty much screwed.

Looks like that wasn't a very logical step.
Best part of the game: the Narrator's smartass remarks whenever you died.

kind of an over-the-top dick move to me.

He looks through a hole in the wall, and figures that what he sees "must lie on the other side of the wall". A man of keen intellect, no doubt.
