@xpoeticxtragedyx I know! Is it creepy that it was my favorite part? I think it's because I didn't get to experience that with Kaylee's birth. It only lasted a few seconds, but it's the most memorable part for me. :)
Glad your back!! Our babies were born the same day! My daughter climbs everything too.... she uses her toys to climb our counter to get to her fish tank and also eats EVERYTHING ... She such a cutie!
@Jaylasmommy2009 Thanks! How awesome! Ugh, she exhausts me with the climbing. I've been trying to teach her how to get down feet first and she's FINALLY starting to do it herself instead of diving off. The other day she dove head first into the bath tub while I was running water for their bath! I didn't even know she was tall enough to do that... I guess she was excited to hop in there!
She's soo cuuute!!! My daughter gets into everything too! She'll eat ANYTHING off the floor. I have to sweep a hundred times a day to make sure she doesn't get into something. She starting hitting and I've already had to start spanking her hands. It seems to be working...But yeah, she keeps me busy and I've got another due in Oct. Glad to see you back!!!
@TabMcgee Oh my gosh.. Lexi has started hitting too! And she'll look right at me and hit again after I reprimand her. I also started slapping her hand but I think she's starting to think it's ok for HER to slap someone else's hand now. I started putting her in a pack and play for 'time out' because there's nothing she hates more than being confined. Congrats on the October baby! Kaylee was born Oct. 1st. It's a great month!
@AshleyMcComb Gianna was doing the same....She would hit, I'd say NO, she'd hit again! I tried holding her hands down while I said NO and that just pissed her off more.....Then I tried hitting her hand and saying NO bad girl, she has done well with it the past few days....If she decides to get a hair up her butt I may have to try the pack n play time out. It's so hard to figure out how to discipline a child this age.
@TabMcgee Yeah it's really exhausting. This is all new to me because Kaylee was super easy. I agree it's super hard to discipline them at this age because they know enough to be disobedient, but not enough to understand that they are being disciplined for it.
