We have been very happy with the Stockli. The one we have is the 3 tray model, but as I said in the video you can add more trays. It is very good at dehydrating the food and has proved totally reliable. I would give juiceland a call.
Hi , i was wondering if you could help me? i live in the uk and i'm wanting to buy a food dehydrator and was wondering which one is the best to get, i was going to get the 9 tray excalibur with 26hr timer but found out in reviews that the fan packs in quite often so WON'T be getting that, so could you point me in the right direction please, i'm after one with a timer and temperature control on it too, hope you can help me, regards Tracey in W.Yorks :)
Any type of fruit can be dehydrated, rule of thumb, the bigger the piece, more liquid content, the longer it takes to dehydrate.
Depending on the level of dehydration storage can be a few months in an airtight container and longer if vacuum packed. We usually eat ours before then!
