@PereMarquette1223 That was a ferry move to her next assignment. I'm sure it was a sight to see for I rode her final excursion in 1994. I love that engine, and I would give anything to see the old girl running again. Hopefully Norfolk Southern restores her for the new Steam Program. In my opinion, I think that would make everyone very happy. Max, out!
very nice at least you got the honer to see this locomotive running i was still in highschool down here in Texas and never got the chance to get up there to ride 611 let alone afford it but I sure wanted too I have seen 611 in Roanoake "stuffed and mounted" and it was a sad site to see
