Alors en fait c'était une squier JV du début des années 80, toute d'origine (y compris les micros) dans un Fender Princeton de 66 (mais ça sonnerait pareil dans n'importe quel ampli fender à lampes), et avec un compresseur Keeley (mais ça marcherait pareil avec un Boss!)...

Bref rien de particulier niveau matos...mais c'est souvent comme ça!

Il y a plein de subtilités de la technique de Mark qu'on retrouve dans ton jeu, des petites notes par ci par là qui font que ça sonne vraiment bien.

Le son est assez proche de la version de 1996 de la vidéo A Night In London.

Great! I guess this proves my previous comment on your Don Mare Telecaster pickups video; a good player like you can make any pickups sound good, it doesn't matter if they are expensive "boutique" pickups or stock Squier pickups (although I guess these are better than those found in today's Squiers..). You make them sound great anyway!

Excellent !! You got under Knopfler's skin on this piece and you've also got some serious tone going on too...Well Done dude, I look forward to hearing more of your stuff. I've also got a 83 Squier JV (57RI) and a Fender Super Reverb. To me the xfactor to your tone (and not taking anything away from your playing, which was awesome) but I think the Keely Compressor added another dimension. Have you tried others, if so how does the Keely compare ? ps. I'm looking to add a compressor to my sound.

thank's for your comment.

Concerning the compressor, i'm not sure the Keeley brings something particularly special, compared to another compressor. Its just a good quality standard compressor, which does not alter your original signal, but i'm sure you can obtain the same effect with an MXR or even a Boss. Another important ingredient i forgot to mention is a touch of delay. Mine is a TC Nova Delay set on "dynamic delay"
