dude i suck at guitar i have been playing for over a year now i can play a lot of different riffs for songs and very few solos and i can play only a few songs start to finish but like idk i suck at guitar i guess i just aint got music in me. i can play real fast and i understand the chords but no matter how hard i try i cant come up with my own solos or chord progressions. i got this rhythm guitar book and i took lessons for a few weeks but im otherwise self taught. i wish i was good like you
im in the same boat and cant do solos but im not bad at the chord progressions! im also good at putting riffs together, but the key to playing guitar is not how fast u can play, its your skill, and u dont have to be fast to be skilled
@JamesCmuse Skill breeds speed, it just depends on what music you're into and what you practice. Someone who only practices Brit Pop will never reach a Steve Vai standard, which is fine because they won't want to.
Yes Bobby Crispy is an awesome teacher. I would like tab for this triad video from beginning to end. I have made more progress with his lessons than anyone else. Thanks Bob!
9LC is probably referring to the tone being used for this demonstration. While the notes are mostly being played cleanly and consistently in the fast examples, the high reverb and gain takes away from the individual note values; thus, it can sound like Bob here isn't playing these licks, "cleanly" due to how the notes he's playing, "bleed into" each other. Bob, you're doing just fine, man; I'd just nix the reverb for arpeggiated examples, where individual note values are important at high speed.
Whats happenin bob , um thanx for the tips im getting a guitar soon and im teaching myself online hopefully to learn some stuff and play as soon as i get it , great vid
hi, i have a problem and i hope someone can help me with it, it is about sweep picking.. im just a beginner so im starting with 3 string sweeps but everytime i release my finger pressing the note on the G string, the string always rings.. can someone or bobbycrispy help me about it? can you give me tips on how to improve it? tnx..
Try to pull your finger straight off, you are probably pulling the string a little, due to the angle. Also, when sweeping down the guitar, mute the strings you played with your right hand.
Tabs coming very soon for my guitar lesson videos!! I'll post a video to notify, so subscribe to my channel if you want the notification. I'll be posting them on my guitar lesson website.
do0d! like stop being such a whiner. If I wanted to hear stuff like this I'd go down to the local guitar shop and ask the salesman to show me. It ain't exactly groundbreaking or particularly interesting either. But what caught my attention to this vid was the resemblance to Elma Fudd's voice. So just chill out
do0d its "elmer fudd" so w/e man all i'm getting at is he is tring to help people learn. i have respect for anyone who is tring help people learn. and your tring to diss 0n his voice i mean come 0n bro i'm sure everybody noticed that he talks kinda funny but you don't see everybody tring to point that out. he may sound funny but he is a rather talented guy and, you should check out his w0rk on his site.
its co0l b0b c0z like, nobody is perfect man everybody has s0mething wrong with them one way or another. if its not physical its usualy mental i'd, rather talk with an underbite as oppossed to not being able to concentrate on anything ya know what i mean. anyhow i'm a fan of your work especially your original stuff that sounds aws0me do0d seems like everybody kinda likes that 5th in there ptonic scale. when i'm just riffing off the t0p of my head i do the same thing lol.
anyone here know where i can find great information about scales? please PM me instead of answering here since i wont remember i´ve written here hehe :) thanks in advance
wow that was awsome i will never be able to move my fingers that fast cool playing..put i think i need a begginers class first lol it has helped tho thanx ^_^
as you bend the string you want to :for if you want a reg. vibrato tone just strike the freted note with your pick or finger and pulsate (bend the string up and down) realy quick or slow w/e you perfer. for a authintic p,harmonic as you stike the string with a (pick) catch the string with the meat of your thumb just alittle. also if you release your pressure alittle and pulsate it will sound alot brighter, also if your d,tuned that kinda gives you a good way to phrase with really (brite) vibrato
Really nice at 2:13

Do you pick up and down or strictly down when you play the triads fastly? I don't want to develop a bad habit going all down or not.

I get your point, but skill can also be conveyed through the emotion and quality that emotes from your playing, no?

learn to play clean before you give lessons, don't set bad examples for others so they repeat the same mistakes you did.

actually my bottom jaw is larger than my upper jaw, resulting in an underbite, hence the "elmer fudd" sound....:-(

how do u make the wammy bar sounds with out the wammy??
ozdgk321 5 years ago
It's called vibrato.
saruto 5 years ago
actually its called a bend lol. You push the string up away from the bottom and back to ambient position rapidly .
camelont688 4 years ago
Lol, whatever.
soccerfalcon2k3 4 years ago
... Yes... The technical term for that is vibrato, not a bend. "bending", is just the action your doing to the string, your creating vibrato however.
altopia101 4 years ago
actually vibrato and bending r 2 different things . first : vibrato is when u keep the same note and bend the string jst on that note .
2nd : bending is when u bend a note ti another
rasengannaruto5 4 years ago
you should study alittle music theory.
zKristopher 3 years ago
