the saturn version is more fun with the added levels,items,relics,richters new coat,maria,new boss,and glitchs lol i found alot and they are fun and also the game is a little funner mostly when you get the running boots with alucard once you defeat shaft/save richter

looks easier than what ive done, jumping on the third warg, it took me aprox 30 atempts. But it breaks a little the game, thats supposedly to be harder in this mod

@Padoca85 - Yeah, luck mode makes you a lot weaker, but the increased luck and the fact that Alucard over-levels rather quickly in this game ultimately end up making this mode easier. It's definitely worth playing for the better drop rates, though.

i havent played this game in a while, i have post this but i dont think any one has done this hack cheat, recommend to play as maria go save has to be the frist 2 saves of the game, reset game with a,b,c and start, if i can remember if thats right, then once your goin to load up the saved profile before it loads press the reset buttons and start again with a new game with either alucard or ricther and you will have the status of maria with alucard you will have everything

i remember this game ive had it since i can remember, this game is cool, i dont think anyways has ever tried this before but its a cheat or just a hack cheat i could say, if you have the orginial saturn it will work, im not sure of emulated on the pc, but how it works is you start a game and save it, i remcommend you start with maria since she has 1000 hearts and more health then richter and alucard from the start, go ahead and start it up with her and go save at the first save in the 2......

two Qs: 1 how do you use the "third hand" and 2 i heard there is a "feet" equipment section. both relate to the sega saturn version becuase there isnt "feet" or "third hands" in the PS1.

@alucardshero - It's been a while since I played, but I'm pretty sure that L activates whatever you have in the third hand. You can equip the third hand just as you would either of the other two hands. There's just an extra equipment slot for it. And no, there isn't an equipment slot for feet. That's why you can wear Godspeed Boots (Relic), Gravity Boots (Relic) and Secret Boots (Accessory), all of which are boots, at the same time.

WTF???????? How the hell did you do that???? I have this game and that never worked for me I always got stopped by my Sega right before being thrown into the other room. Death still jacked my stuff :-( On my Playstation, it's a piece of cake. KCEN of Japan updated the 1998 Sega release of this game and pretty much corrected some of the glitches that were on the 1997 PSX version. You defied Sega's hardware in this case. Props to you man A+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Xclibur2001 - It's a matter of positioning. There's only one spot that you can do it from, with being even one pixel to the left or right causing you to fail. I've heard that it's much easier to do with the third Warg, but it involves jumping before the Warg attacks.

@ward7921 - Yeah, it works in pretty much every version of the game, as long as you're in luck mode (which is activated by entering the name as shown).

i got this to work on the 10th try its hard do more simple in the psx ver but the secret is 2 kill the1st wrag wait for the 2nd one 2 attack u then jump over him just before he attacks u then kill the 3rd wrag unequip all items except the ring,necklace,cape then walk back 2 the 2nd wrag wait for it to attack u then at the last min step forward you are aiming to step forward and be hit where there is a thin grey stripe in the backdrop this should work 4 u 2 all the best of luck great video btw

All that matters is your position, which needs to be correct right down to the pixel. You'll sometimes happen to pull it off while moving forward, but it's still based on your position. It's easier to do while standing still.

This isn't a new trick by any means. It's just more difficult to pull off in the Saturn version, so much so that a lot of people seem to believe that it isn't possible. It's much easier to do in the PlayStation versions.

For the record, you don't really need to unequip the sword, but the other stuff is a must.
