I've used my Pentax 6711 for years for landscape work. Velvia 50 through it. My 24 by 30s, and above are clean. Never a problem with the Camera, although fashion work is more arduous. Reloading film on the tripod is not bad at all. In fact I like the break to- re'incubate the scene. I'm a clean freak w/ equipment, so my 67 is still bangin away.
With the 67II can it fire and advance without film? I'm looking at one that powers up but shutter won't fire; neither can the shutter cocking lever be moved.
Yes, a pro photo assistant when working on a set that is shooting roll film will have 2-3 rolls of film unwrapped of "shucked" film in his pocket ready to load the next film back or camera body. Because some photographers will shoot up to 300 rolls a day even in the studio speed is important.
Yes I would agree, 300 rolls a day is excessive. But as photo assistant it was not my place to tell a photographer how much film he should or should not be shooting.
Not sure what others viewing this post experience is but if your shooting 12 rolls of film on each shot and your doing 25 shots a day that gets you to 300 pretty fast.
Again this is or rather was what we did in the days of shooting film for commercial photo shoots, fashion catalog.

Wow, been so long since I used one I'm forgetting how.
As best as I can remember the ^& DOES NEED FILM in it in order for the film advance to work and for the shutter to fire.
SO if you are checking it out at a store you'll need to burn a roll of film just to ensure that it functions properly.
Also be sure to check the shutter at all speeds, and check that the flash sync works.
