dude what type of hairspray do you use?

You can use Aquanet in the purple canister. Hairspray leaves your chamber sticky inside, makes your spark prongs dirty(clean with alcohol), also collects dirt faster on the end cap.

Right Guard Sport aerosol is better.

Also try a small .5 second squirt of WD40 for more boom and distance.

Dude i made a mini potato gun .5 scale it is a 1/2 in barrel and a 2 in. combustion cmamber. it works ok. the sparker is in the back it works perfect for baby carrots!! check out; pyro day on you tube for the specs.. Good luck!

the curve dosnt really make a differience, as for the screws its good to put them about 1/2 inch away. good luck!

get a lantern sparker from walmart in the camping section, its a flint sparker, works much better, never fail enless its wet or as build up, wich isnt often...

v nice mini gun ive yet to make 1 of them. i have made 1 out of sink pipe tho and it fires a lot further than my big gun, i use hairspray to power it. i think its a lot more powerfull than ''the big 1'' lol, but the big 1 is definatly more fun!!

axe is probally the best fuel, hairspray is good but it leaves behind a sticky substance.  good luck!!

the green and the red guns both shot almost the same distances(the red shoot a little farther). I like the green because it is smaller and more portable. But i use the red gun more because it is much more reliable.

well...the red one shoots the potato every time. with the green one you spray the hair spray and click the sparker and it dosnt shoot. most of the time it works but not ever time. the red gun shoots every time i use it.

Ya i would like to do that but the police dont like it when i shoot the big guns off. I actually got in trouble once, I shot them off in a big field and the police came and asked me what happend. they laughed when the found out it was a potato gun. But they also said dont shoot them off any more
