@VartanMamikonian good question and a quality manner. thanks. I want to redirect same question to you; what if Armenia had to deal with PKK? You may call a NATO nation fake; borders recognized by every single country in this planet. Now tell me which nation is fake? Armenia drew fake borders and aimed to get eastern Turkey which is not recognized by anyone else than Armenia. Turks might have conflict with Kurds but Kurds are not any better with Armenians either. Let's use logic, buddy.
Where was Turkey when Urartu or Kingdom of Armenia was around thousands of years ago. Turks were not even a race. If you want to argue fake borders, you'll lose because Armenia can go back further than Turkey. Bolsheviks after the Russian revolution gave a lot of out land to Turkey I don't know what your talking about, to this day you hold mt. Ararat a recognizable mountain, even the name is an Armenian name - Ararat.
@qw2589 no matter what you call in any language; the borders are recognized by every single country, union, alliance but not armenia. if turkey happens to recognize the genocide i don't think they give any piece of parcel.
What borders are you exactly talking about? If your talking about Turkey you are wrong Armenia accepts the borders factually as it is drawn in Armenian textbooks. However Armenia does not recognize the legality of those lands. It is like Gandhi with Pakistan, he accepted the fact that Pakistan exists but not legally or morally. A recent example is Israel, a lot of nations accept Israel as a state factually but not legally as it was established by UN.
With regards to what dear? Gregory has more respect that you can ever imagine, but very little respect for Hillary Clinton. Read my comments carefully before you make a silly comment. This is no time for stupidity!
During her visit to Armenia on July 5, U.S. Secretary State Hillary Clinton placed a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Monument at Dzidzernagapert in Yerevan. Regrettably, however, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia issued a press release describing the visit as “private.” By using such a characterization, U.S. officials were trying to preempt any backlash from the Turkish government.
Why is 2mighty" USA scared of upsetting the Turks?
"I came to Georgia with a clear message from President Obama and myself: the United States is steadfast in its commitment to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," she said in a joint press conference with president Mikheil Saakashvili.
What a pity that she could not utter the same for Artsakh!!!!!!
Tell your boss to say the word genocide next time he is addressing the Armenian nation. Otherwise these are nothing short of window dressing and an ugly one for that matter too! Hands off Armenia madam, we have suffered enough already through the betrayal and double dealings of our so called "friends" Let the people of Artsakh decide their destiny! As for you , I'm sure that looking after 51 states of the US of A should give you no time to meddle in other coujntry's affairs!
Lock her up in there for as long as possible. She may get the taste of how it was for an entire Armenian nation to experience the Turkish "hospitality"!
