@Buddhist1986 I studied at a Church of England school during my formative years and although I was made to read the bible, sing hymns and listen to sermons, I was never interested in Christianity. The stuff in the bible is too far fetched and I did not like the idea of fearing God in order to gain salvation.

Christians believe in a book of nice stories written by people many years after Jesus's death. Their faith has nothing to do with facts or scientific discovery. If tomorrow we found a journal written by Jesus himself that proved that the bible was just a collection of misinterpretations of his life - true believers would still follow the words of the bible. Their dogma is so ingrained in their psyche that they refuse to question it.

The stuff in the bible is too far fetched and I did not like the idea of fearing God in order to gain salvation.

Vaisnavas venerate Buddha as a form of Visnu, the "Knower".. If you ask a Theravadin Buddhist though, they will tell you some BS about how Buddha is nothing or empty or some other such stupidity.. @titouille100 I was taught that it is impossible to be a christian Buddhist your either one or the other. Christ even said that himself if you read about the lukewarm church it states you were neither for nor against me so I spit you out. Which is being lukewarm in my case I see where your coming from on this but its hard to accept. Cause if that's the case Jesus and Adam are the same which means I'm a Baha'i not Buddhist and shows me that Jesus is a reincarnation of Adam which I don't think is

But on statistics they are recognized as Christians.

Christians believe in a book of nice stories written by people many years after Jesus's death. Their faith has nothing to do with facts or scientific discovery. If tomorrow we found a journal written by Jesus himself that proved that the bible was just a collection of misinterpretations of his life - true believers would still follow the words of the bible. Their dogma is so ingrained in their psyche that they refuse to question it.

Also It is obvious here that Jesus is talking in 5:22 about relations with one's brother (not physical brothers, of course, but fellow believers) and about words said in anger to that brother. Thus in reply to other passages:

@TheBlackSolar the wording has to be right or it will cause the opposite reaction,also sometimes you can word it perfectly and still hurt them but yes i underrstand i point out the flaws in the bible all the time,not out out of hate but out of the love for the person im trying to get to abandon evil teachings,"love your enimies and your freinds equal isnt a lesson from the bible its from the LOTUS SUTRA,BRHAMA NET SUTRA,3 PURELAND SUTRAS well any sutra you can find has this in there :)

@TheBlackSolar i cited all the sources,the larger sutra is apart of the 3 pureland sutras,no its not that big its the larger of the 3 and source is cited hence why you posted the sutra back to me,yes it is talking about rebirth,what sin can a man DO to be BORN blind if he hasnt been BORN yet??the fact that he is asking what the man DID BEFORE he was BORN(in this life) to cause him to be born blind is obviously a refernce to reborth by its very definition.

Now I ask you did spirits exist before taking human form? In the Bible it states that God knew us b4 our birth. @TheBlackSolar (CONT) ohh no i wrote to my friend and stated there was REBIRTH verses in the the new testament and there IS "who sinned the MAN before he was BORN blind" this shows that they had a concept of rebirth and knew what rebirth was,also jesus didnt sau rebirth was wrong he just stated in this case it wasnt the reason he was born blind :)STILL my original point is upheld it is a verse on REBIRTH in the new testament(heb 9:27) yea jesus contradicted alot of thing in the bible :)
