  • Hamish is an eccentric character! I like him! He was over in Cape Breton a few years ago, and that's where i heard him play this tune. I'm going over to Scotland this summer, hopefully i'll get over to Dunkeld and visit his workshop, i have a chanter to collect as well.

  • Fantastic. Keep it up.

  • Nice attempt but I think that you would benefit from a listen to Hamish Moore playing this tune.

  • Dear Borderpipe1,

You are perfectly right! I have to train a lot before playing in about an acceptable way but I only started one year ago (01.04.2010)... Hamish is a very nice person I met last November in Edinburgh when I went to pick up my new set of pipes (on the video). I also attended his Barga School in Tuscany in June 2010 with about 40 Gaelics pipers, singers, fiddlers... Now I am member of the LBPS of Edinburgh which might be funny for a "Zampogna" (my family name). Yours aye!
