Thanks nsn10 :) If you asked me now about inspiration in chord changes i would automatically asnwer "Stevie Wonder" since i cosider him the master of all masters but i don't think i had an inspiration for that particular chord change and at that age. Only that it sounded right...

you know what? i used to listen to "Revolver" like 20 times a day when i was 6 or 7! To the point that my father would threaten to break the record if i wouldn't listen with headphones. So i was exposed to the Beatles early on. I remember it was Revolver, an Abba record, Grace Jones' 'Nightclubbing', Diana Ross' the one with Upside Down and Stevie's 'Songs in the key of life'. Over and over and over 24/7... Maybe somewhere in there was a Dm to Fm :-)

Very funny! Even more interesting is that "Nowhere Man" was in 1965's Rubber Soul which preceeded Revolver (1966). So there you go...! You really seemed to dwell in the spirit.

But bottom line is that, Pio kali monaxia is a great song - and I think that its best attributes are the melody, the chord changes, and the arrangement. I remember my mother listening to it about 20 times a day when I must have been 6-7! I would have threatend to destroy the tape, but somehow I liked it too! :)

Well, it's a shame you can't understand the words because they are trully beautiful. But if you listen to the music by itself, it is just a very simple song, in C major (all white keys on the piano :-), very easy to play and to be written by a 10 year old (at least *i* think!) And of course, at that age, i did not arrange it! And it is a great arrangement as well.

(now that i think about it, maybe that is why all my "adult" songs are filled with so many chord proggressions :-)
