the kids got chops. you should pick up jazz. it is good music, and would be a good challenge because shredding in pentatonic will get old eventually. I used to like stuff like this, but jazz just takes so much more knowledge of the instrument. Pick up a Fake (Real) Book, learn some sweet chords, you'll be awesome-er.
