I just recently got a launchpad and I have no clue how to use it. What you did was awesome and thats what I want to learn and do in the future. They say its the easiest to use but every time i try to study it, i just end up playing around and pressing buttons. I'm a wreck :/ Help please?
Dude i liked it, name of song? does it worth to buy one of those, some people say is better to get the Korg nanoKONTROL2 Slim-Line USB Control Surface, Black, but it seems to me this one has more functions, not a musician, just to play with some tracks and mix music as u r doing there
Hey dude quick question... how do u customize the launchpad buttons? Like, if I wanted to make them light up when I touch them, where do I do it? Thanks
@MTDOfficial Hey, thanks for the question. Basically, launchpad can receive midi data from ableton. Every button on launchpad is a midi note so sending that note's ID (like c3) back to launchpad will result in lightning (the color depends on velocity). You can either create a midi clip with notes and route them to launchpad or create a midi channel which is controlled with launchpad input and has launchpad out as output. Hope this helps
Dude that was awesome! i've been eyeing up one of these debating whether to get one for about 3 months reading all reviews with open ears, have anything to say about it?
@sQuntoDubstep You can use the mp3 when it's done and don't forget to give me some credit :D I will finish the beat in less than a week. I will also upload it here. Stay tuned
@Kiriusha1980 can you tell me how this actually works, how the sounds are loaded and layed out across the buttons? Are there simple presigned patterns, or can one just place it where he or she wants? peace!
@MortenBoHansen if you have ableton there is a grid you can assign each one into. pretty much you take a sample or anything you have written and put it in a little slot in the grid. you press the button and it plays. its really simple.
@littlemimus yeah so like MPD'ish, only with so many more variables? I simply gotta have it. That and the machine Madlib uses so sample! Its so easy, but so affective! Hope you'll have a nice one!
@Kiriusha1980 I like how you say he needs to give you credit even though you didn't create the actual musicians who created the song you're just pressing buttons to re-arrange.
