  • A beautiful combination of images and music. Nice work, japanese rice fields are sure pretty places.

I saw this video on ChopSueyJoint. Do you play with them?

  • I feel relaxed by watching this video, and I think your selected this music is match up with rice fields.

    ヽ(*´∀`)ノ

  • Just like rice fields in Nepal :)

  • I don't know know how to ride a bike and I have never been to Japan's countryside. So, your video makes me very happy. Thanks :)

  • @realessence he was driving a car lol

  • @GrimeyBeatProduction haha...you're right.

  • That's a song with words worth listening to, may even be words to live by, thanks for sharing that with us.

  • do more vid's like this xD maybe have a passenger film to your left and right aswell.. this was amazing ^.^

  • @wardy1337

There are more like this on our "wheels" playlist..

  • actually. that just might be your vest video yet, it says it all without saying anything

  • That was magical dude... I can't imagine leaving for another country, you're the real deal

  • Wow! Now those are some seriously bumpy roadways lol !! v(^,^)v !!First I thought you were on a motorcycle until you hit the turns, would be suprised, if ya didn't get some motion sickness driving around on them for that clip, some of those drops must of had your stomach in your throat on those paths LoloLz 0,0'!

  • thank you for the driving rice field video.

  • Japanese rice taste so good.

  • Hey you're on the wrong side of the street. hahahaha

  • @eduardobag

You're supposed to drive on the left in Japan.

Since most people are right-handed, Samurai in the Edo period preferred to keep to the left in order to have their right arm nearer to an opponent and their scabbard (called a 'saya') further from him.

That's actually something everyone thinking about going to Japan should keep in mind. It's probably easier for him because he comes from Australia, where they also drive on the left.

On another note, lovely video! Very motivational!

  • @DrownedBeliefs I really enjoyed your explanation, I had no idea why. fairly consistent. Thanks.

  • @eduardobag

Britain is the same (with sword fighters in feudal times, not samurai of course!), I think they both just happened independant of each other though. The rest of the countries, like Australia, India, etc. have only stayed left due to British colonial rule. Most other countries drive on the right either BECAUSE of imperialism from Germany, France etc., or because they want to ESCAPE imperialism in the case of America (also why America has different spellings!).

    No problem sir. ^^

  • i <3 rice

  • you're driving on the wrong side of the road, lol. ;)

  • tonari no totoro

  • is there a speed limit in areas like this?

  • nostalgia is running through me right now. It is really nice to ride a bike in that part of Japan on a nice day.

  • You did it again, mate. That was beautiful. It was like flying :)

  • this is/not related to the video, but in the US the media gives Cuba a bad rap ( for obvious reasons...) saying its a ugly, and a dangerous country..but to be honest 75% of Cuba look just like this area, rice fields, small family homes, small farms, hills, and blue sky's :' )... Your living the dream of many i hope u make the most of it! :D

  • God, how incredible would that be to just hammer down that entire roadway system in like an off road vehicle or at least a contraption that can bear the brunt of many hills and dips. I, of course, would never do that ;) But in any other country? Oh yeah. lol

  • wow cool love this^__^

  • that was so nice.

    it's been a while since i experienced such a thing :)

    thanks for the upload!

  • Interesting little change-ups you're putting into your videos. I'm with everyone else, though, just need to see your winsome pretty face in your videos. LOL

  • no "heeeeey guuuuysss"

  • "heey guys"...... T^T???

  • what are those black flags by the side of the road for?

  • this guy must live by a rice field or something

  • 懐かしいですね!

  • I watch your videos often, new and old. I'm not sure if you've done these types of videos before because I've not seen them but can you do videos on japanese games? I know of games children play like 'Kagome Kagome', Onigokku (tag) and 'Batsu' games played by adults and children alike. I also know here are some games played only on holidays but I don't know much about them... Also any videos on japanese toys or board games would be cool to see too!

  • Would love to live in country side

  • that place looks amazing. it almost makes me wanna cry it looks so peaceful.

  • I really like how the video is playing quicker while the music is low tempo. Nice!

  • Where is this?

  • it's just simply beautiful, love it!

  • I loved it. ^>^

  • even if it a stop sign why are we making such a big deal, i'm sure it was a mistake and love the song might be my new favorite more video like this please.

  • thank you so much for uploading it

    i love it!

    :))

  • Amazing, approximately where is this ^_^?

  • Awesome video! Liked and favourited! What part of Japan is this? The scenery is very nice and relaxing along with the music

  • What would happen if another car happened to be going in the opposite direction?

  • nicely made vid the song fits perfectly and scenery looks really sweet

  • cool

  • Sounds a bit like Ben Gibbard to me.

  • Dude, you are the living the life I dream off :) I tip my hat off to you

  • You didn't stop at the stop-sign!

  • @guardian040 Yeah man wth?

  • @guardian040 That was a yield sign, not a stop sign.

  • @savetherocks I'm no Expert in Japanese traffic rules but as far as I know 止まれ (tomare) means Stop. And that sign is listed on all websites as the Japanese Stop-sign. Supposedly the only one in the world shaped as a triangle, yes. (Instead of octagon or round shape.)

  • @guardian040 Ah, you're right, didn't bother to read the sign. I just assumed it was a yield sign due to the shape.

  • I've planted rice before. It's was so fun :D

  • Awesome video. Your creativity never ends. Hope new videos keep coming up till I finally move =]

  • almost sounds like Pink Floyd =D

  • Driving on this road seems like a sport

  • I need to find some way to live there before life gets cold!

  • amazing view ^__^

  • Love it!

  • There is nothing better in this world than summer. That is one beautiful scene!

  • @Flargenyargen New England Autumn.

  • @TheCasanovvaa Knowing from a firsthand perspective, I actually disagree.

  • @Flargenyargento To each there own i guess maybe because I relate it to my childhood, but nothing is more beautiful then the Saranac Lake in autumn in my opinion.

  • Awesome vid.

  • Not my favorite ManJack song, but most of his stuff is awesome!

  • Awesome vid! Reminds me of taking a ride with my father-in-law to his favorite fishing spot

  • 知多半島ですね。こんな道を流すと名古屋は走れないね。

  • Nice little drive.

Was there any significances to the flags?

Were they owner designations, decorative or otherwise?

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @ajabff

    "Use-by date"

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom

Guna watch an old video now so i can listen to it and have it cheer me up.

  • Well, that part of Japan does quite much look like my area.

  • I enjoyed the ride, thanks.

  • THe song????

  • HOW can you drive on such narrow roads in such speed??? LOVE this video tho :)

  • @Mmajta Well, if you can through or over something narrow with 5 mph, then you can also go across the same path with 120 mph. ;)

  • this reminds me of some good anime...i cant recall the name though

  • Reminds me of Dutch cornfields. Though Japan isn't as flat :p

  • It's so green and open :D

I would suck if you end up running out of gas or if the car breaks up here.

  • Lol when you turned onto the main road i was like "ACK! Wrong side!" Ahh then i remembered... Anyway, nice video ^^ I loooove the rice fields <3

  • NICE! i remember i subscribed u, when i saw same kind of video, about small village near sea side ride

  • oh so pretty!!

  • You should try reducing the camera shake on the next music ride video, though.

  • I don't enjoy music rides, but the video was beautiful. <3

  • It's like a slow rollercoaster.
