good to know. The grains looks extremely similar with the grains in a launching charge of a howitzer shell. The grains I have seen in the charge are like cylinders with a central hole surrounded by another 6 holes. The idea would be the same: increase the surface where the grain is burning.
Such a design of a Bate Grain would work or during the functioning would spit fragments of grains? If it works than that would mean a shorter burn but with much more force. This is just my theory...
