Great job Bruce! As an American Bunny Rabbit who loves England, Bruce Springsteen has been with me the whole time in Rock! Spare Parts-Viscious and Loud Rocker One of the E Street Band's greatest ever perfomances. Clarence, I will never forget you! Rock On Bruce! The only boss I'll ever wor for! Look at Bruce rock that guitar!
July 9th, My Birthday and Bruce at his Best, even got to sit in Posh seats which meant we shared a bar with the Miami Sound Guys and got Clarences autograph as he walked past, when I went near Bruce his Personal Body Guard of about 4 feet tall suggested I had 3 seconds of life left in my lungs, you should have seen me move! Never been so scared and it didn't half sober me up!
This performance is kick-ass! I love "Spare Parts," and that was a good intro too. I feel that this entire album could be one of his most underrated works, and lyrically stunning. You could tell that this was the point in his life when things started to change for him. He still has songs about betrayal in this album, but he moves on to peace in the 90s.
Is that Patti on guitar? I wonder when she picked that up becuase she wasn't on it for the USA tour.
The BOSS: Every song he sings he sings about me. (does any one relate to what i'm saying)? I've been listening to the BOSS since the 70's and every song he sings I feel he is talking about me "especially this song" it's the story of my life. It brings tears to my eyes because I live in what he sings...from a Marine... any feed back from any of his fans...
ahh mean machine - you are right on. That's what the Boss does, he writes and sings about life. The thing about this particular video is how great it is live. The original on the CD was very good. This is fantastic - the piano prelude, writing the score for the brass, Steven's opening, Patti's harmonies all make it a great video. Lots of bands can produce a decent studio recording, but something like this - live - shows true talent!! Sounded like the audience like it too...
3 degrees: watch the video "41 Shots" I never heard that song before or the facts behind the song. Truly amazing what The BOSS can do...from a MARINE...
I've been listening to Bruce for about thirty years. Good times, Bad times, Happy or Sad, always a song to fit my mood. Like you every song is for me. Bruce is love and understanding. XXX ninimalouine
ninimaloune...thanks for post, just the other day i was watching t.v. and there was nothing on. i then had to listen to "THE BOSS"- "57 channels and nothing on". there isn't a day that doesn't go by that i don't listen to his songs. i've grown up listening to "THE BOSS" in ever phase of my life- i'm sure just like you...from a MARINE>>>
I was at this concert and it brings back all the great memories of a talent at it's performing peak.anyone know where I can get a copy of this concert?

I love Bruce's loud, angry powerhouse rock songs. It's a shame that this song has disappeared from Bruce's setlists.
