Love this video and thank you for sharing! I had a Double-Yellow Head Amazon who thought I was her mate. She exhibited the same behavior as the female in this video. Tail feathers up, slight wing flipping, but instead of the screeching, my Amazon would softly cluck in a very low voice. Birds are such a pleasure to watch! I'll be sure to stay tuned for the next chapter in the daily lives of these two Peregrine Falcons.
fantastic birds, but they dont have much range in the vocal department..im sure they know the difference between each sound tho..they screech when theyre young,when mating,when they can see one of the family coming home,when its dinner time etc etc ..they generally love to screech!
my dad used to work there and he would sit up there with a camera and film those guys back in '01 and '02... i have a bunch of home videos of them :p
