I was born and raised 42 years in Florida about 2 hours East of Tampa...does anyone remember an old show called "Shock Theater?" Late 60's(?)...not sure how long it ran. They showed two old classic "scare the beegeebies out of you if you were a kid" movies every Friday night. The host of the show was a Frankenstein character but he wasn't scary.
"people are fleeing the city of los angeles in a mad panic... in the meantime, traffic is moving along smoothly along interstate high way 109; no accidents have been reported."
Hi Mz, im like u I love all the 50's sci fi good and bad even really bad like Unknown Island, Beginning of The End, Plane Nine From Outer Space, so bad their good and of course all the big bug movies. It it's still on youtube and you havent seen it check out Quatermass And The Pit ther's two versions one that aired on tv in several episodes and a movie version both are really good. Take Care.
@DetoxMansion That's what make it so awesome. The classic movies of the 50's, 60's and early 70's were so unpredictable unlike all the CGI movies of today. I have a money jar on the entertainment center. My daughter has struck it rich. I put .50 per prediction when we watch movies...I gave up. Loved Kronos, The Monolith Monsters, Green Slime, Angry Red Planet and yes the lame Dagora, The Space Monster
@FuckYouLetMeLogIn Many of the films and TV shows of that era were corny, in the eyes of a more modern and sophisticated viewing audience. Many of them are, nevertheless, quite entertaining and worth a watch.
Thanks for posting this. The opening theme music was also used in "It, The Terror From Beyond Space". Great shots of a B-47 in flight and the "Grable" atom bomb test of 1953
@towringer ITS NOT THE SAME MUSIC AS IT IT IS THE SAME COMPOSER SAME STYLE SAME TEMPO SAME POLYTONALITY BUT NOT EXACTLY THE SAME THEME [ LISTENT TO PACIFC 231 BY HONNEGER AND THE TRAIN BY JARRE]

Very confusing movie, the hypnotized scientists, the big black cube thingy, it was like they were writing the script as they went along.
