I am afraid to get these, Because, I went to the eye doctor, And he was like like; 'HOLY COW! YOUR PUPILS ARE HUGE!' And I said, 'Thats because its dark in here!' So he turned on the light and he still insisted my pupils were huge. Then he said, 'You shouldn't get non-prescription lenses, You would over half you pupil!' and I was like 'Piss.' lol.

And the reason you can see the design has nothing to do with how much light your eyes take in, its because of the diameter of the contacts. they're 14.0 which is only a few mm away from your natural eye size, so the design was printed too close to the pupil. know stuff before you insult people

I have lenses, have them for about 8 years now.. Never put them in like you do! I was thought to just put it directly on my iris, or half on it. No sliding them up. It doesn't hurt you, it's faster. Also when I take them out, I grab them like you do.. no need to slide them down first!

Your tutorials are super :D

but ehm... you shouldn't wear make up when putting in your contacts! Especially with soft contacts, you won't feel it if make up or dust gets underneath it, and it can really damage your eyes...

You should put in your contacts, the way you do is perfect :), do your make up, and when you take them out, first take off your make up and after that, take out the contacts.

and again, i love your tutorials :) x

I can deffinetly feel when there's dust under my conctacts.. but I always put my contacts in first cuz that's just how I like it.. :P And I do not recommend you taking of your make up before you take out your lenses. I use make up remover wipes to remove my make up and rubbing on my eye replaces the contacts and makes em feel all weird and stuff... but that's just me! ^^

Ik ben opticien/contactlensspecialist en ik vind het heel jammer dat je mensen naar Google verwijst als ze vragen hebben. Daar zal inderdaad een hoop opstaan, maar als er echte problemen zijn zijn wij de aangewezen personen om op terug te vallen. Ik zie namelijk veel te vaak de gevolgen van mensen die zelf aan het hobbyen zijn geweest, met alle gevolgen van dien. Misschien is dat iets om in een volgend filmpje over lenzen te vermelden.

eyeliner and contacts can cause blindness, outer eyeliner is fine, the inner of the eyeliner can cause blindness!!!! and size is important if theyre to small they can damage your iris. your nails shouldnt be long because you can scratch the lense which will scratch your eye, if u have longer nails, (with a free edge, u should scrape under your nails BEFORE u wash your hands. or you get them grundgy) talk to your dr and see what diam your RX lenses are and if you order deco lenses get right size

No, it shouldn't hurt if the lens is clean, if there's a little dust thingy on it, then it could hurt a bit or cause irritation. You just gotta make sure that you're hand are clean and not :)

Well, if you go to an optician/contactlens specialist they will explaine verything and practice with you to put them in and out and how to handle the lenses and about the risks if you don't handle them the right way :)

It's scary at first, but when you know how to do it all it's cool :) Good luck!

well i wear them every school day. but on weekends i usually give my eyes a rest from them.

so, just change the solution when you wear them, if not, just keep it in the same solution.

When I put the lense in my eyes it doesnt stick to the eyes it kind of sticks on my finger insted the wrong way if you know what i try to explain. I've had eye surgery about 4 months ago and I've used glasses since I was about 7 and when I did surgery my eyes were -11 with estigmatism. I had just like you which is Myopia, (nearsightness) which means we can see close by but far we can't see a rats ass... now I can see it all with no problem!!

the B.C. stand for Base curve and 8.6 is the most common regular eyes and Dia stands for (I guess you'd understand it it's dutch :) ) Diameter that's the length of ur pupil from side to side... BC values range from about 8.0 to 9.5. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.

Darling it has nothing to with the size, the center of ur pupil streches in when exposed in light and streches out in the dark... soo everyone will see the white circle... it depends more on the design than the size of the lens... unless you have really unussual eyes they might have to make eye contact lenses especially for ur eyes because if not the contact lenses would just fall out...

De lenzen die je inhebt kunnen een stukje van je zicht wegnemen omdat je pupil groter is door de hoeveelheid licht in de kamer waar je bent :P

ALs het donker is zijn je pupillen iets groter dan wanneer het licht is.

DUs als je in het licht staat zie je dat randje lens niet meer ^^

Weet jij eigenlijk of je ze over je gewone lenzen heen kan plaatsen..?

Voor de bijdehante onder ons die het wel proberen: je krijgt de lenzen niet meer van elkaar af, en door de vaccuum die vormt kun je ze ook niet meer in het tussengedeelte nat krijgen. Oftewel, ook al geef je weinig om je ogen en doe je het toch, je kunt naderhand twee paar lenzen weggooien. xD

I usually wash mine with solution before i put them and after i take them out....cant be too careful...also just don't buy lenses off the counter from anyone...always check with your optician first...your eyes are not replaceable
