I m going here next week, i've got an e-ticket to Venice but is there any issues with getting on to platform cause I have no physical ticket apart from this e-ticket printed off.

@sargeaap When I went there, there were no issues about getting on the platform. Watch your pockets though as pickpockets are everywhere.

I arrived here in late June 2010, chaos all around as a transit strike was in full motion. Everything shut down. Luckily a nice enough cab driver would take us to our hotel, wait, then take us to the Vatican for our tour.
