  • Did you upgrade Warton's scenery between the TSR2 flight and the Lightning flight? Or did FS automatically turn down the details for the TSR2 approach? Beautiful planes BTW

BTW I don't think Warton ever had Stalwarts (or modern Ford Transit vans - certainly not at the same time LOL). A nice vid though - seeing as I used to work at Warton (1989-1998). Incidentally when TSR2 was produced, I'm sure that the site was British Aerospace (BAe) Warton and not RAF. In WW2 Warton was a USAF base...

  • thanks Tach. Yes you are probably correct

since you worked ther. I used Stalwart as no other vehicles add on vehicles available for FS2004 at that time . Ive since got a new higher performing PC and more options.

Think I did upgrade Warton scenery from default

before making this but a freeware add on not payware so thats why its a bit iffy.

  • Scrapping TSR2 was both tragic & EXTREMELY foolish. It was years ahead of ANYTHING else. As usual, a myopic, anti-forces Labour government was responsible for binning an awesome aircraft. I visited RAF Cosford last year & got chatting to one of the stewards. He explained that TSR 2 had a projected life span into the late 2020's!!! It was designed to enable it to be repeatedly upgraded. Labour scrapped it & stated they would buy the F-111-never happened. Typical Labour imbeciles!

  • thanks for watching

  • @dbarl64 I have since found out, that the US promised the UK government that we would receive FREE F-111's, in return for scrapping TSR 2. Why? Because the US realised that the TSR 2 would wipe the floor with the F-111 & dominate the export market. Australia & Germany had already openly stated their intention to buy TSR 2. Guess what they ended up with, and UK received none of? F-111 General Dynamics! Another example of the so called 'Special Relationship' in action. Disgusting.

  • @LIVERPOOLSCOTTISH thanks for input'

  • TSR 2 is hell of a good looking plane!

  • thanks only 2 left but in the museums

  • I have to be honest....shocking flying as per wale43703 said when he told u. As long as ur enjoying urself I don't care/ Just don't try to sell it as the real thing :)

  • Id like someone else to make a video flying the FS2004 TSR2

shes not that easy to land.

  • L2Land

  • yawn

  • No srsly lurn 2 fly

  • TSR2 hard to land try it

  • L2Fly.

  • By the way, you can't fly.

  • where are these aircraft from please could you tell me.

  • That's a really bad model.

  • wale away

  • Ok, I'm a real pilot, so to have me say your flying is terrible is constructive criticism. But you have to be an asshole about it.

  • no need to get worked up about it The model was created by someone else.

  • Thank you sir

  • Why is air-traffic control American?

Too crude, TSR2's undercarriage retraction all wrong & the Lightening's takeoff is bizarre - its tail leaves the ground first like it's levitating rather than rotating?!

  • Because MS FS Does not have Brit voices yet.

Waiting for you to make a accurate version

  • The TSR2 and lightening look like they are kaz itos models which aren't that good. i have the alphasim versions of both and they are both very accurate and don't have any problems at all (right gear retraction on the TSR2 and nose first take offs on the lightenings ;))

  • think they are ,well they were freeware so i appreciate them despite not totally accurate. buying every airplane software costs a fortune.

  • nice touch but need to keep practising you landings though...lol but very entertaining

  • Is that the Alphasim model?

  • No its a Freeware from a japanese designer

Its the only one out there beside Alphasim

which he may have also made.

Dont have his name offhand but shud be easy to find in search

  • Amazing I thought Lightnings were only used with RR Avons.........clearly this one had the Pegasus variant fitted...never saw one at Binbrook though.

  • Roger sir.....also liked yr glider Video

so saved that to my Favs.

  • Two awesome planes shame the TSR wasnt produced wouldve been a cracking sight to see.

  • Was produced but only 2 or 3

    Thanks For comment.

  • Thanks Gixergs no worries "Here" mate .

  • TERRIBLE, YOU GEEK! I fix aircraft for a living. The Take-off was poor, and by the way, it's pronounced Boscombe DOWN!!!!! Do you have a Girlfriend? I think not!!!!! Go out and get drunk, or get yourself a REAL pilots license! I found this video interesting until you added the Top-Gun theme tune. Who do you think you are? Please show a little respect for a great British icon....!
