hello cessna154 i have a question. When I am flying my approac in a beechcraft barron default the controls are really sensitive and the plane is a little squirly. Any help because I apply too much preasure to the stick and i either undershoot or overshoot the runway. Thanks, hYDROPUMP75 :D

1, rRealistic, but didnt get to see it that well

2. unRealistic, the wing and engine on the right side would have cause more friction in the grass causeing the plane to viontly turn with force and may well snap the wing. but in the video it was just sliding along as if it was butter

3. unRealistic again as the wheels at the frount would have had to much weight to compansate with therfore it should have blowin the tires and skidded along the runway and it would have done some damage to the metl

#3, because if the nose gears isn't locked, it will get pushed back up, causing the nose to scrape across the runway.

If this were to really happen, it is safer to land with no landing gear down than to have 1 or 2 gears down. Or atleast on fighter jets..

#2 obviously, I mean he pushes the wing up, and it magicly lifts the entire wing into the air, then the plane smashes into the ground and defies gravity, flying halfway almost to the terminal. so in terms of most unrealistic, 1 being most, 3 being least.

Definitley not #1 because if two wheels fail to go down, then something really has to be screwed up with maintenence. I think it is # 3 just because that is the one that i have most commonly seen.

I think the most unrealistic gear failure is the third one. Because of the fact that if the nose gear is not correctly placed in position, the front nose will collapse suddenly, so the nose would hit the ground right away. I'm not sure if I'm right.

@Guywhowearsunderwear It would if nothing was done to gently lower the nose. The gear would always collapse without being locked, but pilots are told to gently lower the nose to the ground to prevent excessive damage to both the gear and the nose of the airplane. And if you only have one gear wheel set come down, just do a belly landing, the thing would snap off anyways from all the weight it's bearing.
