I would argue that Marijuana is a "gate way drug" ---wait for it----- But only while it's illegal. Legalize it and walla, alcohol is more of a "gate way drug" than marijuana.
If you are an illegal drug dealer you'll get my logic.
There has never been one single overdose on cannabis in 6000 years of its usage in recorded history.
440,000 people die each year from tobacco use. That's more than alcohol, car accidents, suicide, AIDS, homicide, and illegal drugs combined.
The older I get the more I realize this country is full of dumb, gullible, lazy, unimaginative, stupid, non-curious idiots. Who accept everything spoon fed to them, barring a few places that are slightly more evolved.
I don't smoke, I know enough people who do and they are sending there money down to mexico to drug cartels who are violent raither then letting the U.S grow it, theres jobs for farmers and taxes for the government and everyone wins. When I was 16 it was easier to get Marijuna raither then alcohol so that shows how the government can't stop it so they should give up and tax it so the smokers money won't go to mexico
im 16 and i used to smoke marijuana till i was caught and i completely agree with the speech on how morphine is legal but that is way more harmfull than pot is by a mile
I just found out that medical marijuana legalization is quickly spreading throughout America. Even Colorado is considering legalizing and taxing marijuana. Wow. I thought I'd never live to see the day. Could it be that American government is finally getting their priorities straight and learning to be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people? I'm shocked.
A regulated distribution network for all marijuana use would put responsible adult supervision in between children and premature access to street dealers. Regulated and licensed distribution would reflect and respect societys values, thus preventing children obtaining easy access to theses dangerous substances. What we need is legalized regulation. what we have is a non-regulated black market to which everybody has access and where all the profits go to organized crime and terrorists.
I can buy tons of guns and all the alcohol in the world, but if I smoke some marijuana in my own home I'm a criminal and need to worry about the cops coming by and arresting me. WTF?
How odd that we would allow brand new drugs to market that barely lower cholesterol but almost certainly cause cancer, that give men hard-ons but lead to heart problems. Yet put up a fight over something so beneficial and natural as marijuana which has been around since the beginning of mankind.
Legalise in UK please, shouldnt be a fucking class B

We in LA don't much care for Starbucks. We prefer our mom&pop coffee shops, and our cannabis.
