  • Had a dobe, did the same... they do learn very quickly. This is not teasing... this is called training the right way. No cruelty (you are not hitting the dog) but using the "pack mentality" (Alpha has control) to teach the dog to listen and obey... that way, they trust you and when they go rogue (crossing the street without waiting for you for example) and you tell them NO! ... they listen to your voice and come to you immediately... saving them from death and saving you from crying for the loss

  • good job dogs should be instruct! too much love and liberty is worst.. ur a good leader thats wat dogs need!

  • aw! so smart!! =)

  • i dont think this is animal cruelty at all, but how long did you keep her from eating before she was given food?

  • @Machinewar6

This is as lond as it got. She is super smart and quickly figured out how to get her dinner.

  • i dont think this is animal crulty at all, but how long did you keep her from eating before she was given food?

  • GOOD GIRL! great job! Shes beautiful!

  • how did you train her to stay before eating?

  • @amotofan

Dont put the food down till they sit, If they break there sit before you give the ok then quickly pick the food back up till they sit back down.. They pick it up pretty quick.

  • all dogs need this control in their life, or they become pack leader and not you! they need to learnt this ASAP! shes only whining to say can i get it now dadyy?! so yeah i see nothing wrong with any of this!!!!! btw shes tooo cuteeee! ((:

  • @unityspirit51 I would say thats not a valid reason. Yes, the tail is long, but it wont break. Ear cropping here is legal if you get a vet to sign for it, used mostly for dogs with very bad ear problems and some working dogs.

Dont get me wrong, i like the look of cropped ears better, but there isnt any function to it except for the looks, or permanent ear problems.

  • lol your dog has antennas. space dog! LOL

  • @iLLynch

Yeah she has it Ruff :)

  • @iLLynch left wing, tree-hugger, stick their far too large nose(s) in loving, caring, responsible Doberman owners SPAM......

  • @unityspirit51 I always was curious about the ear cropping. I'm only against it when not done properly by a licensed vet. DIY ear cropping/tail docking is what's cruel.

Anyways, I hope one day to own one of these beauties. How long is the healing process? What's the aftercare like?

  • i was wondering when you started feeding isabella raw food? and what kind of meat did you start with? I have a 3 month old fawn dobie and i have been feeding him raw boneless chicken but im not sure how much i should be giving him. please get back to me it would really help thank you.

  • Jesus guys. Cropping and Docking no longer serves a purpose, and there is a reason why the whole civilized world except for America banned it.

Neutering a dog is most certainly making the life easier for both the dog and its owners.

Training the way he does with food is good, the dog should remain passive and await instructions, except for protection dogs and other working dogs that needs to make their own descisions.

Best breed ever, i would trade my dog for the world!

  • very intelligent dog

  • I just wanted to say how well you are training your dog. This breed has a high protective instinct and is very easy to slip into food aggression. Teaching this dog boundaries, rules, and limitations will demand respect of you. My dobie is told to sit and wait on command before eating his food, me MUST be calm, and most importantly he must be looking at me, not the food. This can take 2seconds, or on a bad day, it can last an hour.

Beautiful dog, Chase is a fawn too :)

  • Well trained dog indeed, she follows your commands. The tapping of the ears look great and your dog looks beautiful. Keep up the great job this is a great video to watch. Ty

  • I only read a few comments, but the ignorance around this gorgeous amazing breed is astounding. People with negative comments regarding the ear crop, tail dock, and training methods displayed in this video have obviously never read into the Dobie breed. These dogs were 'designed' to have the docking & cropping for function. They need intense training, like this. Would love to see how the 'haters' dogs behave. Your dog is gorgeous and seems to be well trained, keep doing what you're doing

  • @softballerr21

You must not know this breed. We taped the ears to train them to stand. As for the Teasing, A Doberman is a VERY smart dog and because of this type of training she will know sit quietly & waits for the command (ok) while I prepare her food. She dont jump or go crazy. Another mean thing I do is tease her at the door. I make her sit nice before it opens. She dont exit till I give the command(ok). This type of training has made for a very well mannered dog. You should look up NILIF

  • @rltriplett good reply!! some people dont get it

  • @softballerr21 ur a dumbass

  • @softballerr21 ok dude seriously YOU piss me off taping dobermans ears arehealthier for them they get less infections, hear better and for guarding a robber cant have the advantage of pulling their ears. Also do u remeber getting ur umbilicalcord cut? no same with dogsAnd its called TRAINING, my dobe pup used to cry while we made her food then scarf it down making her sick , so we taught her to wait for it and stay. she is perfect now and waits patiently. so shut up, cuz obviosly ur dumb.

  • @softballerr21 He's training her and he will have a much better behaved dog than you ever will.

  • thats so nice

i like ur training style :D

  • wow how hard was it to get her to lean to stay like that i have two boys and i cant see them ever doing that well as soon as they know im getting there food ready they go on a rampage until they get it there one track minded

  • @rltriplett yeah im from the usa lol, i didnt mean any disrespect against you or your dogs. i was just saying it looks horrible. i always thought they cropped ears just to make them look cool or something.

  • well trained

  • I agree, the ears should be left the way nature intended them, I have a gorgeous fawn doberman and he is how he should be with ears down. I also think circumision is barbaric.

  • Very well-behaved for 4 months. When I saw the first 30 seconds, I thought it was a male for sure. She is thick! Also, my boy is almost 6 months, and we need to retape his ears. How did you tape yours? I don't see the tape in the middle connecting the 2 ears? I've been looking at the different methods used. Also, for the people who say ear cropping is cruel, Dobermans are prone to ear infections. Thats' another reason to crop them! With long floppy ears, it creates moisture and yeast.

  • nice house

  • Psilocybindream

  • @rltriplett lol i live in us and im 24 i just dont think grammar is important on youtube whatsoever

  • @rltriplett the fact i like girls doesnt have anything to do with raising a dog. i only trhink its not specifically cruel but its probably uncomfortable. yeah neutering is uncomfortable for a week or 2 but not indefinately

  • @PsilocybinDream Are you from the USA ? My Spelling and grammar sucks but yours, WOW.. Your either very young or not from the USA. Which is it?

Anyway In response to your reply. Im guessing that circumcision in baby boys would also cause indefinite pain? While we're here please enlighten me with your opinion of tail docking. Both of my dogs are docked..

  • I'm gettin one in bout a week or so.

    r they easy to train?

my current pup is [boston terrier] a fairly high intelligent breed.

  • @JimmyHopkins2 I never had a puppy, got mine at 4, but they take A LOT of work, patience, etc. For instance, our breeder will not give us a puppy because we both work full time- 1 of us would need to be home, it takes a lot of time. Cropping is also a lot of work. if not properly trained they could be destructive. But they are highly intelligent and high energy. Be sure to exercise it!! Good luck!

  • i think cropping their ears is cruel.

  • @PsilocybinDream

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. BUT with two of your four uploaded videos being "sexy chinese girl" & "Sexy belly dance -01" How am I supposed to take your dog advice serious? I suppose you think dogs spaying neutering is also cruel?

You should watch my other video of Henry he's my Uncropped doberman. "A Rescue dog".. There ears definitely fit there personalities. Henry is goofy and fun. Isabell is serious & focused.

  • @PsilocybinDream

cropping dobermans ears is necessary because they are prone to ear infections.

cropping the ear reduces the risk, hence giving the dog a more painless life down the road, even if they hate it for a few days

  • @OhhSoGodly

Nonsense. Dobermans' ears are not prone to infection. It is pure fetish.

  • I love the eyes!!!

  • i wish i had a doberman. your doberman is so smart and pretty

  • Bless her she is gawjus :-) we have a one year old male called Zeus and we do the same with him he would sit for hours (if we would let him!!) looking at his food, until i said "go" very lovely, smart and loyal dogs! Dobermans Rule x

  • what were you feeding her? looked yummy compared to dry dog food...

  • @thop200

Nature's Variety Raw Meat Dog Food

  • too precious! all four of my dobies whine the same way!

  • Our Doberman goes balistic at dinner time and she knows when it is too. I have a back lab named Isabell but her name is spelled Isabelle.

  • what a beauty

  • @shxxx82

Thank You , She super sweet

  • nice doberman well train these dogs are so smart i have a 3 month old doberman very intelligent , they watch you and look at to know what your thinking

  • Beautiful Doberman

  • very goood! she s a beauty!:)

  • hahahhaah as SOON as u said OK she went for it... didn't even let u finish your sentence! lol

  • That's a great video. Did you know centuries ago, Doberman's and St.Bernard's were breed 2gether to create the Rottweiler?

  • @7185253418 The rottweiler traces back to ancient rome. The doberman breed on the other hand was breed around 1890. The rottie were actually used in the creation of the doberman along with the greaman pincher, thuringian shepherd, gray hound, great dane, whimerainer, german short hair pointer and german shepard.

  • is this the isabell who has her own myspace?

  • @suggamommy

    Yep this is her...

  • aww look at those eyes hahaha so cute

  • What a gorgeous girl!very impressive impulse control!

  • oww so sweet

  • all you were supposed to be training here is impulse control, which she got. but you kept on at it even after she got the exercise. what types of neurosis does she display now? is she a secure dog or insecure?

  • Isabell is almost 2 now. She's super smart, super sweet & very secure. She goes everywhere we go and rarely on a leash.

  • i LOVE my doberman. i want a another oneeeeee :(

  • what a good girl for waiting !

  • what is that you're feeding her? she is so pretty :)

  • Part of me is saying your very mean for making her wait. But the other part of me is saying your command over her and her will to do as shes told was awesome :P

  • I dont always make her wait like that. She's 19 months old now and she is a wonderful, well behaved dog. That will enter the room that we feed in and sit nicely and wait for her food. You can take her food at any point and there is no agression. It's truely nice to have her own me.

  • Excellent! Beautiful Dobie... and nice clean house. : )

  • you shouldn't make her wait that long, eventully see will just ignore you!

    but beautiful dog, very obedient.

  • dont use her name in a warning tone. her name should only be associated with something positive. not a correction. kapish?

  • @c3contact123 I've neva heard that before but it makes sense.

  • I really really love your dog, I have a few questions.. how old was she when you got her home? when did you start training her? please let me know, I am planning to get one

  • We got Isabell at 8 weeks old We started training right away. Basic Nothing In Life Is Free Training (Work for what she wants)

  • oh no, by mistake I gave 1 star.. i will refresh and give 5!

    isbell is very cute!

  • gave 5 stars :D

  • Thanks

  • ahhh. ijust dropped my dobie puppy off today to get his ears cropped. : (

  • to anyone who thinks this is teasing or cruel - dobermans are highly intelligent and require intensive training to counteract any potential behavioral problems. this dog is very well trained. very cute!!

  • how old is she now??

  • 16 months... on 7-27-09

  • Oooh, still just a puppy then

I have a Black Male that's turning 5 in August

  • 18 months

  • heyy reallly cute dobbie there :)))

amazing expression on this dobbie love it.

  • Hi I was woundering what you feed you doberman, she looks very health. I also have a red doberman he is 5 months old.

  • My family and I just got a Male Doberman Fawn! We know they're a very intelligent breed to begin with and we look forward to extenstive training and having a lot of fun with him! But I must I say that we're quite impressed with the training you have accomplished with Isabella at such an early stage! You've inspired us and we plan on holding up to the same standards! Keep the videos coming! :)

  • nice dog! how do you get her to stay and tell her when to go ahead and sit?

  • Comment removed

  • the real test of that is to get them to lay down then put the treat on they're paw's, while telling them to wait until you give the o.k for them to take the treat.

  • Months of training

  • How bad does her bowels smell after eating the Raw Diet ? I was looking into it and they say that dog food is really good. Also are her eyes going to stay Blue ?

  • Till about 6 months

  • From what breeder did you get her?

I want a fawn female dobie as a companion for my older dobe!

  • Wow, that is just great. Can't believe she's only 4 months old!

    And a cute bowl!

  • I love the cute heart food bowls =)

  • I have an Isabella Fawn also. She is a great friend and protector. She tolerates two Jack Russells..so she must be good-minded. Love your dog!!

  • what are those things on the ears?:)

  • Post's.... Doberman's are born with floppy ears. At about 10 weeks old you crop the ears and post them till they stand on there own.

  • ahhhhhhhh! beautiful pup by the way

  • did you go with the standard or medium ear crop?

  • She is just gorgeous. She listens pretty good too. Is that steak your feeding her? lol, lucky gurrl.

  • Thank you. Its Natures Variety Raw (dog food). She loves it.

  • Aww.. She is BEAUTIFUL! :o)

  • Love this video of Isabell! She is so beautiful =)

Any chance of seeing some more videos of her??

  • That's a little cruel to be teasing her like that. How would you like it if someone tortured you for your food.

  • NILF Nothing In life Is Free

  • Absolutly! We trained Kauai the same way. He sits and waits until we say 'OK' to gobble down his food. Teaches him that we are the hunters/leaders and that he has to work for his treats/food. She is a beautiful girl

  • He's not teasing her

  • What a gorgeous dobe!!

  • OMG! So cute and smart. I applaud the training as well. Mine has three levels including CGC. Best to you and your girl.
