Take a white printer paper and then put black dots in it. Guess what, the first thing/s you will notice are the black dots and note the white in that paper. My criticism is constructive. Singing is not just about the range and the stunts. It's the whole package. I didn't even mentioned that Regine V is a lot more consistent in terms of vocal power and control.

I lover her style but if you are really a note sensitive person, you will notice that some lines go flat and it easily gets noticed.
flat, musically is not a "sablay" because it's still the same note, but the difference is the note is on a different pitch, like a high "do" then sung to low "do", some singers do it for style to reach the other high notes. e.g. christina a and mariah. just FYI peace!

The flat notes maybe intended perhaps as not to attempt to reach notes that are beyond her range, just like whitney attempting to whistle... Take a white printer paper and then put black dots in it. Guess what, the first thing/s you will notice are the black dots and note the white in that paper. My criticism is constructive. Singing is not just about the range and the stunts. It's the whole package. I didn't even mentioned that Regine V is a lot more consistent in terms of vocal power and control.

Spontaneity, intensional flat notes? You must be kidding. If you understand that in my context, flat notes means 'sablay', you wouldn't say what you just said. I am not downgrading her. I lover her style but if you are really a note sensitive person, you will notice that some lines go flat and it easily gets noticed.

flat, musically is not a "sablay" because it's still the same note, but the difference is the note is on a different pitch, like a high "do" then sung to low "do", some singers do it for style to reach the other high notes. e.g. christina a and mariah. just FYI peace!

The flat notes maybe intended perhaps as not to attempt to reach notes that are beyond her range, just like whitney attempting to whistle... Umm, correction, Whitney has a 5 octave range, not 3. i don't know where u got that, but she is. ur falsetto is counted as an octave, that's why mariah has 7, she can't reach those notes singing out.

LANI has a creamy, textured midrange it. The only problem is when she hit the high notes, bitin.
Definitely, midrange-wise Lani has control and texture, but when it comes to belting the high notes, she were not able to sustain. Another thing, that high note is A6.

if lani misalucha wanted to be a legend just like whitney, why don't she just look for her own composer who can write for her great songs and not simply revive songs which are the product of sweat and blood of other people. she revived almost all the best of the best whitney songs. why, to be just like her or even surpass her? originality counts you know. there's nothing better than hard way up. there are lots of great filipino composers. why not she ask them to compose for her?
