Seriously WHAT THE FUCK?! I played tony hawks pro skater 1-4, thug 1-2, thaw, thp8 and thpg, but i never knew that there were ps1 versions of thps 3 and 4. I found out a year ago about thps3 on the ps1, but i thought that was it and now i found out that there was thps4 aswell. I feel like ive been living under a rock! Dont tell me that there is a ps1 version of every tony hawk game ever made 0_0 id shit my pants! I cant imagine nail the trick on ps1.

I managed to find this game earlier this year at a local video trading company (better deals in new and used games than GameStop, believe it or not.) and let me tell you this game has the same draw distance weakness and the paper-thin graphics as its predecessor. But the gameplay was rather the same sans the interaction with others....

Unfortunately to me, video stucks in 0:28. However I played this game last time maybe 3 or 4 years ago, I am not sure. I still can remember College, this level, San Francisco and Kona. I didn't unlock Shipyard. Now I would be able to unlock the Shipyard but I have lost the game. I have no idea where is it.

Yeah, the American Sk8land version was a lot better. More people need to play that game. The DS version played a lot better than the PS2 version of American Wasteland.

Sk8land's version of Alcatraz does have a notorious rail in the exercise yard that you can grind and re-grind like the one here, but actually combos. In Sk8land, the first half a second of each grind is unbailable, so that rail is the easiest infinite combo in the game.

@polloassamite The PS1 version came out day-and-date with the PS2 one and most other versions. Neversoft, the developer from THPS1 to THPG, made the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube versions in-house. The PS1 and GBA ports were made by Vicarious Visions. Vicarious Visions treated the series with respect, and these ports are not bad games by any means. These levels were just designed with better hardware in mind, so VV had to made changes to get it to fit.

Congratulations, you are better than me at a terrible hacked-together PS1 port of a game. You've completely missed the point. You apparently haven't even seen the PS2 version of THPS4 to see how far off this one is. In this video, everytime I bumped into something or fell out of bounds was to show something you can't do here but can on the PS2. Next time you decide to make a douche out of yourself, figure out what the player is trying to show you, or at least learn how to use some punctuation.

That bug is present in several versions of Tony Hawk, not just this one. If you grind off the end of a rail that slopes downward and you're going slow enough, you can start another grind on the end of the rail you just left. In several instances this gives you in infinite combo (see Hit-FinalBattle part 2) but here your combo breaks because you hit the ground, though it could in theory be comboed with manuals.

It's also worth telling that this also happens in Tony Hawk's American Sk8land's version of Alcatraz, where it combos completely after 4 minutes will get you to the highest possible score in the game. I'm sure there are videos of that on here too.
