u have to go into preferences, click on keyboard, choice keyboard from the menu, then click modifier keys in the bottom right of the screen, then go to control and chose command. the way u can copy and paste just like u do when u use a pc
you can choose whatever keyboard layout (well, functional, not visual, of course) you want. so, if you don't like UK's layout, just change it in system preferences.
again dude der is a a button with an apple on it, it is the same as control, so use it to do apple(command)-c and v, and right click, or maybe just get a 2 botton mouse
About the mac not having a right(secondary) click option, well i was going thru youtube videos came across one dude who actually demonstrate how to change the settings. If i remember well u have to go to the system settings (system something) which is the equivilant of control panel in windows to change the mouse setting or maybe keyboard too.
For windows Apps try this then you may not even need parallels and XP google for codeweavers
As an English man who lived in Europe after two years of being back in the UK I am still getting used to UK keyboards again @" real nuisance. Still French keyboards AZERTY can you imagine, are a bigger challenge. For Copy, cut and paste see the comments on your other video.
Macs in the UK go with the standard European keyboard, rather than the American. It only swaps round the @ and the ". I can understand Apple telling u to get used to that as it really shouldn't take that long.
As for the whole copy and past thing, just substitute the Apple button for where u previously used CTRL.
Wow. I had no idea you UK guys had a different keyboard layout. I switched to Mac about 6 months ago. I hope to never touch a PC again the rest of my life. I regret waiting so long to do it. Could've avoided so much stress. Good video!
