  • well, it's just a half step between B and C. Know the scale then you can know the note, that simple

  • I teach music and have perfect pitch. That is not "B natural" but a "high C" done with Caballe's trademark magnificent pianissimo.

Thanks for positing this piece. I've heard sung by others, but none could match the vocal excellence of Caballe. She has the voice of an angel that lifts one's soul to God. May God bless her!

  • @SoldatodiVerita, thank you for confirming the note!! In the biography notes it says it is a B but I bow to your ear!! It is a glorious note, the kind of vocal magistry that is unique to Caballé!! She has indeed the voice of an angel!!

  • No "C"... is a natural B

    However, WONDERFUL SINGING!

  • @colonia3059 You are quite right it is not a C but it is a heavenly note nonetheless! It is the most beautiful sung piece you can truly feel the emotion. "La Superba" absolutely!!!!

  • La perfezione assuluta: Che fiati, che filati che pianissimi. Grazie

  • La perfezione assoluta, nessuno ha mai cantato così! Grazie

  • One of my best friends quoted: "Another recording of Caballe's wonderful, marvelous voice. The upper C in pianissimo, just delightful. Sublime, superb interpretation." I totally agree with him. thank you @emr1918 for posting, what a gift!

  • Yes... it is...

  • She sings this with such authenticity and empathy. She understands this character. That miraculous voice carries the expression.
