  • dang nice collection!

  • Great coins collection!

  • How much are you willing to sell the Trade dollar for?

  • What a JACKASS if the old coins are REAL then handle them correctly. Example the trade$. Dumbass. They are fakes too unless your paying over hundred dollars for it.

  • chinese panda are quite worthy these days in asia,,, the price have go up

  • Wow, great collection you got there! Please also check out my video. All the best!

  • I love this junk silver collection. It's totally amazing. I wish I had all this shit. Maybe one day I will if I rob Bill Gates lol. Even his money would be useless.

  • Damn hell of a collection! Nice man

  • I BUY SILVER

  • I hope you've been taking the pennies from 1959-1982 as well, those are copper too. I can't beleive you found many of those halves in bank rolls, I've always thought about doing a search but always assumed it'd be fruitless. But after seeing that someone else found some recently, I'm definately gunna try to get some through that.

I've got about 100 oz of silver myself, most in the form of US coins, but also some bullion and foreign coins as well.

  • Fantastic collection you have there very nice :)

  • Just so you know, The trade dollar/chinese coins are probably fake. I an Numismatic coin expert and the way it looked/sounded leads me to believe there fake. Id get everything check out

  • @MsCoinCollecter nope they are not, i asked 5 coin dealers and they say it is real, the sound is probably because of the bad camera quality

  • CRASH JP MORGAN BUY SILVER NOW

  • beautiful coins

  • Wow! You have early Taiwanese(R.O.C.) 50 cents, R.O.C. 70th anniversary 999 silver round,1914~1921 Chinese Yuan "big head" coins... That's just too fucking cool. I thought there's not a single american would ever interested in collecting Taiwanese silver stuff (Not main land China ), but you do.

  • @mich65ek2 i'm not american, i'm taiwanese :)

  • @arrroman That figures. Very nice collection indeed. Did you polish these Big Head Yuans? I have never seen any actual BU heads, are they BU anyway?

If it is, then it worths at least $500+. Good luck collecting.

  • @mich65ek2 i did not polish them

  • you found the dimes in rolls as well?

  • @allusernamestaken12 some of the dimes were found in rolls

  • nice

  • faggy voice

  • yay 1000 views, thx ppl

  • great stack

  • @feegeit thanks

  • I just bought earlier today $50 face value in American Silver dimes & quarters for just that - $50! This past week I bought 160 silver content American half dollars whereas 134 of them were of the 40% Kennedy variety and the remaining 26 coins of the lot were 90% silver 1964 Kennedys (18) and Franklins (8) ALL FOR $80 FACE VALUE!! Be it as it may the person didn't care more than just to exchange them for face. Keep investing & collecting coins - it's really fun if you take numismatics serious.

  • I'm a numismatist and an avid one. I see you have somewhat of a spellbinding quandary below here. Many Trade Dollars have been known to be counterfeits. Initially check to feel if the coin is hollow. Check it with a magnet as for silver doesn't have no magnetic reaction towards a magnet. Ultimately weigh the coin and have it tested for total silver content. Don't forget - people do dumb things too!! China made many counterfeit Trade Dollars then. Perhaps an anxious person rubbed off the "S"!!

  • republic of china year 3 yuan shih-kai dollar with the o mintmark

  • Now that is a Silver Collection !! Buying this stuff you have a good chance of making more of a profit. Because unlike most bars or bullion these have collector or numismatic value that is more than likely going to go up in price too along with the silver value. If your good you can get this stuff for around melt. Make a profit two ways!

However I think you should check your Trade Dollar and Chinese Coins you had on the desk with a magnet. There are a lot of fakes made by the Chinese.

  • @MUDSWAT i actually did that when i first got them, they are authentic rare coins

  • Where did you get the Trade Dollar and how much did you pay ?

  • @MUDSWAT i got it off my local coin shop and he sold it to me for $75 because there was a damage on the mintmark of it

  • I'm sorry I still think you got ripped off. That coin is worth $1500 without a mint. The guy who sold it did one of two things selling it to you for $75. He either did something very dumb or he ripped you off. I'm going with ripping you off.... May want to do some more tests. Maybe even get it graded...

Other ways of spotting fakes if the reededge is like this |||||||| its real if like this \/\/\/\/ then fake.

I'm not trying to call you out or anything I just think you should really check.

  • no someone purposely scratch the mintmark off, i can see dozens of scratches in that area, but when i put it next to a lamp, it looks like a s-minted trade dollar

  • so its an s-minted one not the proof 1878

  • and the edge is IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

  • Well I'd say a good buy then !! How about the Chinese coins ? How much did you pay for those I have some real ones too wondering about value?

  • actually those were gifts from my grandpa, and i found out one of them is worth about $500

  • Really, what one ?? I have about 5 different ones gifts my brother got me when he went to China.

  • @arrroman where is the coin shop?

  • Nice Collection, Keep collecting! Check out my video too!

  • Some of your dollar coins and walker/barber halves are in great condition. If you just want to stack silver and are not a "coin collector" you should be able to get a good price for those and buy more dimes and quarters. Ounce for ounce you will wind up with more silver and a collector will be more than happy to pay a premimum for coins in that condition.

  • I like junk silver the best

  • me 2

  • Nice stack! Since you're already paying attention to your coins, might want to save your US one cent coins dated 1981 and back, too, since they are all solid copper (some copper cents were issued in 1982, but it can be a pain to sort 'em). The copper in a solid cent is worth about twice face value, right now, and they might be the valuable "junk coins" of tomorrow, like the old 90% silver coins are today. =^[.]^=

  • guess what, i have been saving those pennies before 1982, i have a huge jar of them

  • I guess that's not surprising. =^[.]^=

  • how did you find the kennedy in the bank role?

  • you can actually find silver in bank rolls right now, just go to any bank and ask is they have rolls of half dollars, or even loose half dollar coins, you may find silver, you may not

  • exelent silber coins

  • Thanks

  • Nice silver collection. How much did you pay for the peace, morgan, and trade dollars?

  • the time that i bought them, the trade dollar was $75 and the morgans and peace were all $15 each

  • do you store your morgan and peace dollars in folders or capsules?

  • ya in plastic rolls

  • Did you also find the quarters in bank rolls? I hear that silver quarters are very hard to find in rolls because so many people are cheaking their change for state quarters. Also, do you know about the site TreasureNet?

  • i have only found 4 silver quarters in bank rolls so far and ive been collecting for 11 months now

  • cool silver collection......

  • Thanks!

  • where you get most of them? and any tips?

  • about half of them i bought from my local coin shop, about 45% i found them in bank rapped rolls i exchange in my local bank, and about 5% were gifts from my family. I think going to the bank and finding them is the cheapest way, but it is based on luck, sometimes you might find a lot one day, and sometimes you might find nothing. hope that helps

  • Hi ya what did you used to get from the bank? halfs?dimes? quarters? and about how much worth at a time?

    Thanks

  • all that u mentioned, halves are the easiest to find, then the dimes, and the quarters are hard to find, right now a 90% silver half is worth $7, 40% half is worth $2.75, dimes are worth $1.40, and quarters are worth $3.50

  • Thanks but I mean when you go to the bank how much would you get of halves? cause i used get halves and I might get some this week. and how much would you get of dimes if you went to get some at a bank

  • like i said its based on luck, for the halves most of the time i find nothing, but sometimes i find 1 to 5 and uncommonly 10-20, the best ive found in one day was 6 90% halves and around 105 40%. same with the dimes, most of the time i find nothing, sometimes 1 or 2. i have already spent 9 months and i only found 4 quarters

  • Cool Collection! I suggest getting some Canadian Maples - 9999 purity

  • yea i know, but the coin shop that i go to hardly has any canadian maples

  • ebay. that's where I buy all my silver.

  • Enjoy!
