@Aldergrave well for me, i don't have a proper desk of any sort for my computer. my computer is part of my audio/video system so after a while you get sick of using your leg as a mouse pad. i would think it would be nice if you have company over and are watching a movie and such that it would be nicer than having to deal with a traditional mouse. for on the desk, i still think the logitech performance mx mouse wins hands down.

It depends on what purposes are you seeking for. It's a fallacy that some people think that the most expensive ones( like MX Air) are the best . But if you're a kind who uses computer to surf net,play some games, do homework, i suggest u dunt waste money on this MX Air as the only 'EXTRA' function is that you can browse photos ,etc in the air.What's the use?? Expensive and inpractical but yet innovative and unique.Unless you're a son/daughter of a billionaire, i suggest you get the mouse .

This is pretty cool. But if you think this will make it less tiring and more comfortable then using your table mouse you're wrong.

Holding your mouse above ground is more tiring.  THis gadget isn't good if you constantly using it. YOu're more comfortable and less tiring with your hand resting on your desk.

allright now someone tell me how this works if you want to play a shooter game and you want to turn around 360 degrees. see with a regular mouse, you move left, lift it up an inch or so, quickly put it down on the right side of your mouse mat and move left again. In the air... there's no such thing as lifting it up

so... not for gaming i assume?

well im assuming that you can tilt the mouse left and right and the cursor will move but then again i wouldnt know. then again, he did say that it did say it was for easy media center access and normally, a gaming mouse doesnt have a play/pause or a volume button.
