You can tell that in the loft scene they really wanted to kiss and Lana was more than willing to cheat on Whitney because of her feelings towards Clark as well as knowing how Clark really feels about her. She should have done it because it pretty obvious how they really feel about each other. If it was me there I would have kissed Lana. Just saying.
