People NEED to realize and respect the FACT that black skin DOES NOT mean that they are the same people with the same culture, beliefs or traditions! Many of these people have been enemies of eachother long before the Europeans decided to create borders for their territories, hence the violence they distribute to one another, for the sake of their own survival. Of the people I have meant in south American they consider themselves hispanic or latino. To them it is like asking a black man are you african american or black. I think it's important not to underplay the class relations which spur some of the racism here. Note that the protest was made up of local shopkeepers and business owners, petit-bourgeois in other words whose position in society is entirely driven by competition but without the security of owning a large amount of capital.
