I have a Mini Lop named Renshu, and not once have I ever seen him do this. :/ I suppose that's a good thing, because it means he's not really scared, but it does make me curious as to what he WOULD thump at, if he ever did. For a bunny, he's abnormally fearless. The first day he met my cats he hopped right up to them and scared them off, lol

I've never heard/seen a rabbit thump until my current rabbit, he does it in response to the sound of a plastic bag, men, or strangers. it's pretty odd and funny.

@physicalgrafiti12345 it's not aggression. it's what rabbits would do in the wild to warn other rabbits if danger was near. my rabbit does this if she get's really scared.

Do you know whst it means when they thump like that? It means they are scared, trying to get your attention, are warning you, or feel danger is near. From the looks of it, it seems ur rabbit saw something.

my rabbit did that when he would warn us about raccoons on the porch and even a bear in the next door neighbours yard... he would find us, thump, and run off to show us the trespassers... :) i miss my bunny... :'(
