look at the instruction booklet you get with the game.it states on one of the pages that a man from fortuna was escorting a girl through the mitis forest when they were attacked by demon and the man suffered injuries to his shoulder.the demon that attacked was sparda.sparda have a purpose of nero.NERO IS DESCENDANT with SPARDA BLOOD.sparda choose nero/made his arm to get the source of demonic souls,and to get active powers.he use his arm is instrument of sparda.thats nero real story starts from

if i followed the story of the game right, Sparda was some kind of feudal lord in the past, had some kids with the townsfolk, and a couple hundred/thousand years down the line, Nero is born as a descendant of Sparda

That, or it will be stolen later. After all, Dante in DMC1 doesn't use Rebellion at all - it's Force Edge and then Alastor. Then Sparda.

@purplexxsky I read they didn't really add much of Lady because she is a lone wolf and her story is pretty much over. But Lady is only well liked so much because she got the most screen time out of all the girls & her story was sad. But because Trish is his partner& she is so mysterious they wanted to give people more of her personality & fighting style. But the DMC girls are only here for eye candy so we won't being seeing much of them really.

There is only one reason why Nero looks like Dante, and it is NOT storylined. In an interview before the game's release, Capcom said that they wanted to use a different character, but they did NOT want to turn away newcomers to the series based on new character design, so they made him look like Dante to appeal to the new players in the series. That is ALL.

He had hurted his arm(but they never tell how he got hurted), and when he starts fighting Dante in the beginning of the game, Nero then gets the blue demon arm but he´s not like "Holy shit!! what the hell is that!!?? I got to find a way to dispose it of my arm" he´s more like "hey, this thing is cool, I can go and kill demons with it!!" which Vergil kinda liked so in my opinion I think vergil has something to do with his arm. Well, we find out when DMC 5 comes out :)

yeah you are right...but difficult in DMC 4 is not same like DMC 3,DMC 4 more easy...Even EGM,Gamespot,GT(GT countdown) say that...i already played both of them... a Very Hard Mode in japan version,became Normal Mode in DMC3 international version and its Hard Mode juz like hell....and The last battle with vergil(dante's twin bro) in very hard mode,became one of hardest battle ever in DMC series, or maybe in entire game history...
