  • you can land sitting on top of uke with either an sumi-gaeshi as shiai67 already said but it can but also with tomoe-nage or even yoko-tomoe-nage

  • try a flying uchi mata

  • i really enjoyed the music...it was perfect for the gentle way

  • BJJ, Judo, Sambo, and Catch Wrestling are all just variations of the same style, and they all have the potential to beat each other.

The fact of the matter is that a non-lethal move that can be trained at full speed against a fully resisting opponent is going to be more potent than a so-called lethal move that can only be trained with cooperating partner in a controlled setting.

This is what sets BJJ, wrestling, Judo, Sambo, boxing, Muay Thai, Catch Wrestling, Kyokushin, etc, apart from TMAs.

  • Yes..young Skywalker. Complete your training is.

  • tell that to funakoshi

  • jigoro kano !!! not jigaru kano

    dumb ass

  • Judo and jijutsu are most important things u have to learn in fighting thats Why every UFC and Pride fighter learns the basic of it

  • don't forget wrestling jiu-jitsu is for submissions, judo for throws, and wrestling for takedowns and grappling defense

  • a takedown is considered a throw in judo. also, judo has submissions and bjj took all of theirs from judo. so many dumbshits on this site it's not even funny.

  • no most wrestling takedowns in judo don't count for a whole ippon, and bjj has much more emphasis on submissions and as a result bjj practioners are more proficient at submissions while the reverse is true for judokas

  • Love it...except...uh...who was that? No name in the scrapbook.

  • it was jigaru kano sensei he was the founder of judo

  • i just love judo

  • very beautiful and exeptionnel video,

    the corp's form are pure

it s a good representation of the spirit

    again please

  • This video is very elegant... and the music is haunting!
