Thanks for this video. I have so much more insight into how my sister and brother-in-law and family have been indoctrinated and brainwashed. I am concentrating on building my rleationship with them and I have done a unilateral cease fire on criticising the wtbts.

nobody forces you to believe it. i think its important, that everyone finds his/her own way to cope with live and to understand god,i think its universal, not subjective, like the WTO tries to tell you. no religian has the ultimate solution for live, its our quest in life to find out who we are and where we want to be, what makes us happy . i m fine with my life, finally after a long time of searching, and i m happy without the WTO^^ AWAKE and OPEN YOUR EYES^^ life is so much more!!
let me put it this way, i m sure they did in the past, every religious group does that and in the beginning even the christians in old israel were such a group , but unlike the WTO, the clergy made the
"mistake" of letting its people get educated^^ it took some time but it worked. today people are able to choose what they believe, they are not blind followers anymore, IF they are willing to use their brain ^^
@koppsr Self imposed control is what happens when our conscience functions properly. Supposedly, holy spirit via the Bible is meant to give us that extra motivation to be morally upright (and yes, I know the definition of what is "morally upright" will be contested by those who want to choose their own sexual outlet). None of us like to live in a world where people, although "free," are abusing that freedom by doing harmful things to others.
i see the bible not as the word of god, more like a historybook of the christian believe, and a kind of simple code how to have a community function properly, you mustn t steel, ect ect. i believe that theres a greater being out there, but i don t see it as a judge , more like a loving father who keeps his distance and let us expierience this world on our own. we can turn there for support when we need to, but we don t have to if we don t want to. :)

The hardest part of being involved as a child was the social restrictions I faced with my peers, such as not being able to attend "worldly" celebrations and constantly questioning or even fearing my actions.
These people have bravely taken the first step to freedom & left the organization...now I hope they will take the 2nd step & free themselves from ALL religion...You can't live forever on paradise earth, but you can live 60-80 years and enjoy the only life YOU KNOW you will be getting.
@999Atwood The ONLY way you'll ever be ABLE to enjoy this short 60-80 years is to know you're an adopted son or daughter of the God of life. There's nothing in this world that brings true happiness if it's not from God, for God or about God. I've been around the world, done just about everything I THOUGHT would make me so happy only to find out it was all hollow. Only when I found Jesus and the love he had for me on the cross did I REALLY find true happiness. I pray you'll do the same.
@AmeKeaka Which God? Your concept or your neighbors interpretation of him. People forget their particular image of God was handed to them from birth.. from outside influence. Just like the blond haired blue eyed Jesus people except as how REALLY Jesus looks. Poor guy, when he returns nobody will recognise him !!

You need to be as good as Jesus was.God will not let anyone that has committed ANY sin come before Him. I know I fall WAY short of perfection and that's why I need someone to pay the fine for my sins. That's what Jesus did when He allowed himself to be put to death on the cross. I used to think I was "one of the good guys" until I realized God won't allow unholy (anyone that has EVER sinned) people in His presence. All need to be washed clean - only the blood of Jesus can do that.
@AmeKeaka Does God play poker and gamble? Is God antisemitic, antimuslim and generally damning of billions of humans? Is God paranoid? Does God believe that the US and its leaders are run by evil forces? Is God going to send ETs to earth? Does God condone, and actually revel in the deaths of people during the 911? Is God unamerican? No. He says "if you're not for me you're against me" so yes He will damn billions of humans if billions of humans reject Him. No God is not paranoid - what a stupid question. I'm sure He knows of the evil in the govt. ETs are real - only He knows what He's going to do with them. No - God hates murder (sin). Yes. No - just hope to be one of the multitude that couldn't be counted seen worshiping Him by John.
