700P features an H-S Precision composite stock reinforced with Du Pont Kevlar and fiberglass. They'll stay dimensionally stable in any weather and under the worst tactical situations. The stock is laid up around an aircraft-grade aluminum bedding block that runs up the entire length of the receiver. It has a textured, black, non-reflective finish and comes with sling swivel studs.cheers Cammo
@MrDip02 mmm...tough choice my friend...both tatical rifles.i believe the sendero comes with a magazine?thats always a handy thing, you have to modify the 700p for a mag...can you shoot both?only way you will truely know!
mmm...thats a hard one sharp shooter...i guess i would have to say the good old .22,i use the old rimfire the most, cheap and fun to use!but if your talking about centrefires then i would have to be boring and say the 5.56 or the good old .223!how about you mate...whats your favourite?
I would keep the aluminum bedding block in but also bed the action with other bedding materials due to the action and barrel actually slaps the bedding block and eventually the block gets worn. Adding additin bedding material will stop the wear, and slap of the action and barrel. I have done this to many rifles and it works wonders for longevity and accuracy.
thats beautiful mate! how much did that set you back? a few months back i bought a ruger m77 hawkeye in .30-06 topped with a nikon prostaff 3-9x40 with the bdc reticle! swivel bipod aswell all up cost me around $1,400. im extremely happy with the rifle, hit a cantelope at 400 yards using the circles in the reticle!
hey mate, sounds like you have a sweet setup with your ruger,my 700 P was $1900 the scope was around $500 and the harris bipod was around $150,expensive gear but worth it,would like a better scope but cant afford one at the moment, maybe later down the track.thanks for the comment.happy shooting! cammo

Nice rifle, had one myself in .308, what made you chose such high rings?

hey mate.the farrel rail is high in it self, the mounts arent that high but leaves for expansion when i want to get a bigger scope.cheers cammo
