besides, the point of being in tucson, is exploring the beauty of the sonoran desert, not the city. I think the city is good for making friends to go camping and hiking with, oh yeah, and school is cool too supposedly.

I might have spent the first 7 years of my life in Tucson and I'm still a Wildcat.... but Tucson sucks. Phoenix is better. If half my family did not live in Tucson, I'd have no reason to go there other than to watch my Wildcats. (never converted over to the dark side)

I was born and raised in South Tucson.  After I finished Uni, I moved to Osaka for 3 years then moved back. This is what happened:

A White Trash Kid with a Mohawk threw a brick thru the windshield of my truck, my house was broken into, and someone filled 2 shopping carts with rocks and rammed my truck with them, totaling it. After a year I said screw it and moved back to Osaka. Tucson is a dangerous place filled with tweakers, bums, and other misc. bad element and a weak local economy.

Most of people living in south Tucson are Hispanic, and he said he is born in Tucson, so that means he is American, not "afganastanian", and by the way it is Afghan not "afganastanian". so while he used racist word, you too more of the same. However, Tucson is dangerous, I stayed for short time and I saw, heard several crimes even around the UofA

Did I say there are no crimes in my town? beside I only described Tucson as I saw it, I lived for a short while. I have no bias here, in the short time, several crimes occurred on the same block, including shootings on Speedway, car theft, burglary. I lived in several other cities, some which had more crimes than Tuscon, but at least there are a lot of things to do in.You love home?, but that is no measurement. I like Tucson, but I think it is boring and its crimes + weather not worth living

You know what's gonna happen? All of a sudden the new city you are gonna live in will have crimes around you. Karma is a bitch. It has a way of finding people who think it's always greener on the other side. Where are you moving to? I'll take 3 months of hot weather then near perfect the rest of the year. Tucson is'nt perfect but it's not nearly as boring or dangerous as you say.

I have good memories.
