Hey, you, cheer up! There's no way Saphira's going to die!! Remember Eragon's dream in the first book? About him and two dragons and a female boarding a ship? When Eragon leaves Alagaesia, it's bound to be with Arya. The only part that shuprsk said thats probably true is Murtagh changing his name and Shruikin and Galbatorix dying and the varden winning. But Roran will almost certainly take the crown and murtagh will probably go mad because of Thorn's (possible) death

murtagh will change his name and..eragons dragon will die in a fight agianst shruikin..but eragon will kill galbatorix..thus ending shruikins life as well. he will then flee alagaisia and never return because arya is dead ..although the varden will win it will cost many lives and eragon will go mad while murtagh takes the crown.

if he can change his true name he will be free, and if galbo really have put a spell to force him back if that name changed, they can still hold him back against his will, maybe, and then again don't forget the valut of souls, i belive Eragon will get an new ally or more powers from that, maybe even brom comes back to teach him because now Eragon is ready, we just have to wait :)

it was originally a trilogy and Brisingr would have been the last book but CP said that there was too much material and that his rough draft was about 900 pages long. so he announced that it was to be split into two books, the second of which as of now has no release date or title.

No, US refers to Murtagh and Thorn and how they are trapped by Galbatorix' spells. Murtagh meant that Oromis could have helped them be free of the spells. Galbatorix never planned to make Oromis his second in command, hence the reason he killed oromis and glaedr instead of taking them captive.

he was talking to Oromis. because immediately after he starts to show this weakness/tendency toward Oromis's side with 'you could have helped us', Galbatorix takes over. because if murtagh and oromis's conversation continued from that point Something might changed that could affect Galbatorix's control of murtagh. advice, a spell, murtagh letting Oromis take him prisoner... anything could stem from you could've helped us because it shows a desire to be helped

Well he did get some hope in Brisingr that he can be released if this happens There are 3 possible outcomes to the cycle Murtagh and eragon kill Galbatorix or Eragon does it on his owns that the Mesterios Green rider will kills him or all 3 do
