Saxman is Joe Carello who is a helluva fine player. Nice tight swinging trio and Nancy is just as good as the fancy pants chanteuses such as Monheit and Cheryl Bentyne.

Yes...he plays that way all the time...he originally (and still does) used the technique with a Hammond Organ split..
